Bio

Freddy Silva first began researching crop circles in 1990 and as his fascination with the subject has grown, therefore his career in modern commerce has plummeted. However, Freddy is today one of the world's foremost experts on crop circles, sacred space, and consciousness. He is the best-selling author of Secrets in the Fields: The Science and Mysticism of Crop Circles, hailed by many as the most comprehensive and multi-disciplinary study ever undertaken into this fascinating phenomenon. He has also just released the DVD documentary Stairways to Heaven: The Practical Magic of Sacred Space, written and directed by himself.

Freddy is a life-long student of Earth Mysteries, Sacred Space and ancient systems of knowledge. He is an international lecturer, and has appeared on The History Channel and Discovery Channel, as well as numerous video documentaries. In addition, he has been a guest on radio shows throughout the US.

Crop Circles: Meanings & Mysteries

Making his debut on the show, crop circle researcher Freddy Silva presented evidence and analysis that interwove science with metaphysics. There have been over 10,000 reports of unusual crop formations in recent years, spanning 29 countries, but interestingly, 80% of the incidents have taken place in England, he said. This is because there is an association with the circles appearing near ancient sacred spaces, such as Stonehenge, he suggested. Additionally, Southern England sits above a deep chalk aquifer and Silva believes that water plays a role in the manifestation process.

Unusual soil samples from crop circles can help differentiate anomalous cases from man-made "land art," he noted. For instance, there is evidence in genuine crop circle sites that the soil's crystalline structure has been altered by extreme heat (around 1500 degrees) , but only for nanoseconds (otherwise the plants would have burned completely), he detailed.

He also cited the work of channeler Isabelle Kingston who said she communicated with a group consciousness that was connected with the formation of the crop circles. Called "the Watchers," the group is using symbols to stir humanity to "wake up to our greater responsibility," he relayed. Silva shared a paranormal experience he had while lying inside a crop circle. He said he levitated off the ground and saw "tall beings" that radiated "unconditional love." For more on crop circles and the psychic connection, see this article on Silva's site.

The Meaning of Crop Circles

Crop circle researcher Freddy Silva shared evidence, analysis, and experiences related to the mysterious geometric patterns found in fields. At this point, only about 20% of the circles are produced by natural means, he reported. The creation of the natural formations involves ultrasound or infrasound, with acoustic pressure releasing the water molecules and nullifying them, he detailed, citing the example of a Canadian prairie farmer who found a mummified flattened body of a porcupine in a crop circle on his land.

Reactions to the finding of crop circles can vary widely, Silva noted. In Africa, the site is honored as a sacred space, while in Indiana, police cordon off the area with crime scene tape. He has worked with the noted UK psychic Isabelle Kingston, who received channeled messages from "The Watchers," –a "universal consciousness," which claimed the purpose of crop circles was to help guide humanity through its development. The symbols of some formations have been translated by groups such as the Hopi-- in one case, they interpreted the images as meaning "Mother Earth is crying," said Silva.

He also described a man who had built a large replica based on the 1991 Barbary Castle 'Tetrahedron' formation-- he reportedly experienced levitation effects from it. Further, David Myers & David Percy, the authors of Two-Thirds, have uncovered "spinning disc technology" with antigravity properties, based on their decoding of crop circles, Silva added.
