We will be meeting in the most beautiful (and comfortable) church meeting room I have ever seen. The ambiance of this room can only enhance our already fine energy. You will be proud to bring a friend and show her/him the group you are part of.
These meetings are open to anyone who is interested in learning how to dowse, or becoming a better dowser. You do not need to be a member of the CSD. Your dowsing will improve merely by attending our meetings. Dowsing is a form of energy. This kind of energy is caught, not taught.
Our meetings will include activities to practice your dowsing and guest speakers who will share their experiences and teach you new skills. You will have a chance to meet others who you can help or who can help you. One of the best parts of these groups is meeting synergistic people.
Requested donation (to cover costs):
$5 per meeting for Toronto chapter members
$7 per meeting for non members of the Toronto chapter
$20 per year for membership in the Toronto chapter
First meeting for yourself or for a guest is Free.
So do bring a friend.
If you can not afford this donation, please make arrangements with us before the meeting.
Our first meeting in our new home, St. Leonard's Church. This is a very large comfortable room with enough room for everyone, seating on comfortable chairs or couches. Comments were that the location is quite good because it is centrally located and also easily accessible by subway. It's easy enough to get to from highways, if you are coming from the north or the south.
We have enough room to wander around, socialize, AND!
enough room for a Networking Table
so bring some of your information next time so we know what you do.
My heartfelt thanks to Louise Yarek. Louise showed me that one person at least reads these newsletters and acts on them. :- ) Louise made cookies for us. Delicious, tasty, mouth watering home made cookies. And brought them in in a beautiful tin. When I got home I was reflecting on the feeling I was experiencing from the cookie I had. I could feel the love and care that she was feeling as she made them. I took a little piece of Louise's love home with me and it has become a part of me. And so did many others, Louise. This is what it means when you make a personal contribution. We might not realize this, but this is the dynamic and the result. So thank you so much, Louise.
Please do contribute beverage or cookies (home made is GREAT!) for our meetings. And it may help our coordinating if you let us know in advance.
Dowsing teacher Margaret Ball has made a generous offer to our Chapter. Margaret makes up personally designed flower essences. She will make one up for the person at the meeting who wins a draw. These essences have a value of $30. Lisa Jorgenson, who came with Louise Yarek, was the winner of this first draw. Lisa had brought in cookies for us as well. Isn't that a perfect example of how the universe works when "we" think it's working well? (and if you have questions about these essences, what they do, how to obtain them, just ask Margaret.)
Eva Angyal, our speaker and author of "Vital Knowledge" showed us how to use her workbook. This is a holistic health reference and dowsing manual chock full of. clear well developed charts on health topics. We practiced using the charts to find out what our priority area of concern is and the best way to treat it. We started our dowsing session with percentage charts and Eva had us ask:
When we use the charts, ask: "What is the most important item for me at this time?" After, if we like, we can go on to the second most important item, etc.
One of the things that came up for me when using Eva's charts was "Radiation". I called Eva the next day and asked her how to reduce this. I know Miso takes out radiation and she also suggested Garlic. She places garlic bulbs by her computer, electrical outlets, etc. Do change them about every 6 weeks.
All the work for this meeting was made so worthwhile when I received a phone call from one of you who attended and told me that what was learned about using the charts and Eva's book was a revelation and so important for this man's wife who needs help she has not been receiving elsewhere. Finally, she can find what she needs to go to the next level. Finally, she can find answers she needs and help take charge of her own health.
Eva told us she has a 26 year old son. Someone commented to me on how young Eva looks for having a son that age. I told her this and she said "I also have a son who is 30 years old." And "I take my supplements and buy very high quality ones and eat properly." Take a guess. How old do you think Eva is? She said I could tell you. How old? (Answer elsewhere in this letter.)
I have a very busy, strong dominant mentality that interferes with accurate dowsing results aqnd may not be aware that this is happening. June Allen gave us some words that can be used to forestall this.. Because I find them important, I share them with you: Ask that the conscious mind be set aside and that only the highest and the best answer come through. And, if you want to go further, protect yourself with white light channelling the highest and best energy.
The winner of the Dowsing Jar was Joyce Paske. Joyce dowsed that her dowsing told her she was 100% correct. She also told us how she uses pyramids to rid herself of toxins.
I asked one of our dowsing teachers "why doesn't everyone get the correct answer?" Her response, which made a lot of sense to me was "It's not important enough to them."
This is an important understanding. Many of us (myself included)
wonder why our dowsing results aren't better at times. Dowsing doesn't
work so well when our questions or our intent are frivolous.
More of you ought to have better results if you wanted the jar more.
Try it. Think that it would make a very happy and surprising gift
for a child you know.
Dowsing Schools and Teacherswww.CanadianDowsers.org/resource.html
We mentioned the dowsing schools and teachers that are known to us so far in the Toronto area. If you know of any more teachers, please do let us know. They will often join us at our meetings. In fact, three of them --- Eva, Margaret, and Pat --- joined us this time. Do take advantage of their presence at our meetings and ask them questions. They are here because they are genuinely interested in dowsing and helping you with your dowsing. And they learn from you as well.
How do you know what's best for you or even if you ought to take a class? Sometimes there is something specific we want to learn, sometimes we get an urge and we don't know why. Maybe there is a person you have to meet at a course or someone will tell you something you have been trying to find the answer for. It could be the teacher, or another member of the class.

Alicja also teaches courses on various healing modalities for professionals and for self-help, and leads workshops for using healing tools. She teaches both here and in Europe and provides products for sale that she has found useful from her travels around the world.
Alicija was invited to give 2 presentations to the Toronto Dowsers on the purpose and uses of dowsing tools. I suggested that the first presentation be on Pendulums and L-Rods and the second on Bobbers, Aurameters, etc. She said "No, it would be better if the first one would be entirely on Pendulums. I hope one meeting is enough for this." When I asked why she replied: "Pendulums have power. Pendulums are complicated."
She will offer us:
This workshop will be useful to dowsers of all levels. This is a unique perspective that we are privliged to observe as not too many people know about the European approach. There are even some dowsing teachers who are unaware of this and unaware that there are different pendulums for different uses.
Alicja has been asked to bring product brochures and some products which
will be available for sale after the presentation and questions and answers
have been completed. She will return again to speak to us on
"Dowsing Tools, Part 2" sometime in the New Year.
December: This will be a Social, and:
As a response to the request that we get help to "make us" practice, we plan to set up DOWSING BUDDIES at this meeting. These are groups of 2 or 3 people who live near one another get together and practice, hopefully 1 or more times a month. No formal speaker, more of a hands on meeting. Suggestions will be offered on what to practice.
Please let us know your email address (unless we have it already), and of anyone you know of who would be interested in receiving email notices of meetings and events. We would like to move from snail to email notification of future meetings and this will help. Of course we'd be happy to send snail mail notices to anyone you think would be interested in receiving them. Do let us know.
Do you have anecdotes, techniques, etc. that you would like to share with us? Want to suggest a topic or a speaker for a meeting or be one? Want to volunteer something? Do you have an article you would like to submit to the CSD Journal? Please let us know.
Can you believe that Eva has 3 children ages: 30, 26, 19 and is 56 years young? She is one person who is certainly youthing!
