We do open our meetings to those who are interested in learning how to dowse, or becoming a better dowser.   You do not need to be a member to attend.  Your dowsing will improve merely by attending our meetings.  Dowsing is a form of energy. This kind of energy is caught, not taught.

Using the Clendinning Technique, it is possible to cleanse the aura of negativity and pinpoint the region of disharmony in the physical body.   This serves to balance the entire human system and calls on one's connection to the great healing energy of the universe to set the individual on the way to good health.

The purpose of our Annual Networking Socials -- we have had one every December since we commenced, September 2000, is to put the focus on each other and meet, enjoy and learn about our colleagues.  Grok.  Share water.  Share energy.

To effect this, every year we have set up tables and members or specially invited guests would sell items that were of probable interest to our members.  It was done this way to bring a little attention to people who have not had it, and, to get people to start talking and so you begin to get to know one another.

This is still mainly dedicated to the development of a new form of architecture that would enhance the human biological system and give a new meaning to the concept of "Home".  Upgrading the energy quality of existing homes and cancelling potentially harmful effects of unchecked energy fields due to the architectural design, furniture layout, electrical wiring and modern appliances, specially designed decorative elements are strategically placed to neutralize negative energy and add a positive quality to it. Tarek Fatah, one of Canada's most important liberal Muslim voices, founder of the Muslim Canadian Congress and an outspoken critic of what he sees as the dangers of conservative and fundamentalist thinking in Islam, has never shied away from speaking his mind.   He has led the attack against allowing the use of Sharia Law in Canada, as well as the hijab and niquab, the head and full-body coverings worn by some Muslim women.  This talk is highlighted here because I often enjoy listening to him 7-10 PM on CFRB 1010 AM.  He is intelligent and compassionate. - MG

      Tarek Fatah has picked plenty of fights in his bid to build the kind of Islam he wants to believe in. He has taken on Sharia Law, male-dominated Mosques as well as the hijab and the niquab. Now, he's going after Muslim Anti-Semitism ... something he says is far more rampant than many Muslims want to admit.
    “The last time Tarek Fatah was in his native country, Pakistan, he saw a sign over a grocery store that read Bird Flu is a Jewish Conspiracy.  He is not a man to shy away from an argument. So when he saw the sign, he approached the store owner, who then handed him a copy of The Protocols of The Elders of Zion -- a much-traveled anti-Semitic screed with a long history. The store owner told him it would explain everything.
     That incident is one of the things that led Tarek Fatah to write his new book. It's called The Jew Is Not My Enemy: Unveiling The Myths That Fuel Muslim Anti-Semitism.  In this new book, he takes on anti-Semitism in historical Islamic writings and in Islamic culture. He argues that anti-Semitism is against the essence of Islam and points to ways to reduce friction between these sons and daughters of Abraham.
     He speaks about Hadith literature, the cornerstone of beliefs for many Muslims, written 200 years after the death of Mohammed, that speaks about hatred against Jews. He says that there is no proof that Mohammed ever said many of the statements that the literature claims to be true.

   ¡UNO!  The most amazing things have been happening these past few weeks.  A few Fridays ago I was on the cash line at the Healthy Planet and see a very familiar looking  woman 2 people in front of me.  I finally got it.  OMYGOSH!  IT'S SR!!  One of our members who has been taking time off after she fell and really hurt herself.  We were so glad to see one another and catch up.
     ¡DOS!  The following Friday, griping about the erratic traffic in the Galleria Mall parking lot, finally get into a spot, get out of  the car and who do I see coming towards me, but our member LP!  WOW!  I had parked right next to her.  So we stood there for a half hour and yakked and exchanged really good info.  Another encounter set up by Heaven!
     ¡TRES!   10 days ago, on line at the SoHoSME expo at the Harborfront Westin Castle (I wanted to find out more about some small business opportunities for us), I get my badge, then hear the man behind me say he's with the Garth Riley Group!  Garth Riley?  We all know Garth!  Great guy, Garth!  He came to our socials and did face reading and has a Cable TV show in Oshawa!  I start talking with him and we had oodles of bons mots to share.  He's the Green Party candidate in Toronto Centre and we discussed the WiFi, etc., issue for 2 hours!
     ¡QUATRO!  Thursday -- finally made it to a Spiritualist Temple, have been wanting to go for years.  Who calls my name as I walk in? Arthur Clark!  Remember Arthur? He of the superlative tuna fish sandwiches?  His health has improved greatly, thank goodness, and we can expect to see him again!
     ¡WOOLY   BULLY!   ¿Sí?  ¿Cómo  No?
These encounters, and events like these, are happening  one after the other and closer together.  The path is smoother; thoughts become reality more easily.  All this "kind of stuff."  For you, too, ¿Sí?

      At the Spiritualist temple, I was given a few messages.   One did say there would be more and more Reconnections around me.   Another spoke about that which I had been working on and working towards for some time, it is going to bear fruit and I will not have to wait so long.
        I have been noticing this happening, with our group.  You too?  With our group; in your life?   People who left are finding their way home again.  Because they had to leave to do something else for awhile so they could return and bring back and contribute their knowledge and experience.
        Too, I am feeling this with your renewal forms.  Yes, your old fashioned paper renewal forms and checks.  The ones whose envelopes I open and go through and deal with.  Each and every one.  And enjoy reading your comments.  With many, I can feel the energy and this year, as a group, the whole stack feels like New Hope.  Almost like a hopeful, confident teenage girl.
        People want Kindles?  Put the newsletter online?  Electronic this and that?  Of course they do!  Because they are so ASLEEP,  UNAWARE and DISCONNECTED from the source!
        The purpose for what we do is not to make everything convenient for us.  It is to make connections.  To share energy.
        Several years ago, I wanted to buy a Bread Machine for a good friend who loved home made bread.  I asked him about it first, because I wanted to get him the right unit.  "No", he said, "Thank you, I don't want one."  Why?  He replied "I want my enzymes in the bread I make."  That opened up a whole new world for me.

       The natural things hold our energies.  Silica does not.  Neither do plastics and SOME! metals.  When my Dad was 80 I would look at his hands, his spotted hands, thinking of all the things he did, he created, he held, he loved with them. And how much I loved them.  I love looking at the hands of old people.  They say so much.  They are so beautiful.

      You want Kindles?  Ok.  No more sex.  Its messy and creates too much laundry.   Have kids via test tubes.  It's much more convenient and won't disrupt your busy schedules.

      The universal path that every human being must travel to enlightenment is outlined.  Also, the vast recurring cycles of civilization, affording a profound understanding of history and the ever-changing panorama of turbulent world events.  The book compares parallel passages from the Bible and Bhagavad Gita, showing the unity of all religions.
      Vedic science claims that we are just coming out of the dark cycle, the Kali Yuga.  Not so, says this author.  We are now in the age of Dwapara Yuga,   This is based on the idea that the sun "takes some star for its dual and revolves round it in about 24,000 years of our earth – a celestial phenomenon which causes the backward movement of the equinoctial points around the zodiac."    The common explanation for this celestial phenomenon is precession, the ‘wobbling' rotating movement of the earth axis.    Research into this explanation is being conducted by the Binary Research Institute.
        The sun also has another motion by which it revolves round a grand center called Bishnunavi which is the seat of the creative power Brahma, the universal magnetism. Brahma regulates Dharma the mental virtues of the internal world. When the sun in its revolution round its dual come to the place nearest to this grand center the seat of Brahma (an event which takes place when the autumnal equinox comes to the first point of Aries) Dharma the mental virtue becomes so much developed that man can easily comprehend all, even the mysteries of Spirit.

(2)   Fr. Richard D. Hunt, S.J., LMFT, LMHC, was our May 2008 speaker on, naturally, "What is Spiritual Clearing".   He then taught a Friday evening / all day Saturday workshop on "Spiritual Clearing for Dowsers".
       Fr. Hunt, is an authority on Spiritual Clearing and has a great deal of expertise in this area.   His training and experience as a Jesuit priest have given him a comprehension, insights and tools available to few.
      He is one of the best people to teach this area, the absolute real deal, largely due to how he has followed his vocation and the additional areas of training he has pursued.  This has left him less vulnerable to the kinds of egoic challenges that have trapped others.
      He has written a 450+ page Workbook on this subject, and makes the books available very very sporadically.  I have been "urging" him --- often -- to please please please get me some books to get out there.
      I finally got 12 books from him, that should be coming to me soon.  I may have them for November, if not for December.  $70 apiece and yes, they can be mailed and they are heavy.  And worth it.  You will never see another book like this again.

      The Toronto Dowsers experienced a decidedly energetic evening, September 21, our 11th September, after our 2010 summer hiatus, with www.EnergyWorlds.com founder David Price Francis.   David was "returned", to us, in a way, as he had resided in Toronto from 1988-2003 and was a member of our group at that time, by Dr. Sabina DeVita, as she brought David back to Toronto as a teacher at her school, IEWS Institute of Energy Wellness Studies, in Brampton, where he shall be teaching courses on a scheduled basis.

        Do you like the stories your parents and grandparents tell you about their childhoods (hopefully), stories about how they met?  David tells us the "how we met" stories about the workings of our world.   He helps us better understand our world and our histories.  More understanding leads to less confusion, less conflict, better cooperation, better harmony.
        One of my favorite stories is "The Ham in the Pan" (Do you know this one?).  David's stories are more intelligent but similarly grokking and satisfying.

        During the presentation he offered us several seemingly diverse themes, however they all stem from the same source:   His 32 year research, study and adventuring into ancient cultures, especially the Egyptian one.   He spoke to us about Egyptian postures and how they change one's mental state, changing a walk, changing a finger position, working with color, the planets, seeing auras, showing us Anagrams to demonstrate the power of words and their hidden aspects, how men and women do or do not relate with one another and much more.  All of this --- and more -- is part of the Energy Worlds, which he so superbly teaches.

Egyptian, Chinese Postures, Colors, Healing:

      With regard to Egyptian postures, he suggests we visit Toronto's ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) where they have a standing Egyptian exhibit and mimic  their postures.   When you change your posture, he tells us, you change your mind state, the way you think.
      An interesting current parallel:    This week, a local newspaper has been depicting a posture, hands on hips, head high, chest out, that if either men or women take this posture  the person will feel and act with greater confidence.

      In addition, as a part of the postures, specific hand and finger positions are utilized.  We know them as mudras.  (See extensive articles on mudras in our March 2005, May 2006 issues.)

        Although one perception is that mudras are symbolic, David tells us that when they use their hands and fingers to form certain specific positions, what they are doing is they are firing energy through their fingers.   You send Green power with one finger, Red power, with a different digit.  The same for yellow, blue and white.  It corresponds to the Chinese system of the 5 energies.  Each finger produces a different kind, i.e., a different color,  of power.   It also corresponds to the planets.   Then there are associated flowers and animals.  For example, the Red finger sends Mars energy.

      Another example David showed us, is what a Chinese doctor would do, 5,000 years ago, since they all knew and used the same system(s).   If the doctor detected, by viewing the person's aura, that the person needed more energy, David showed us a position the doctor would take, and would then send green – for healing — energy, through the appropriate finger into the appropriate meridian.   This energy medicine of the past is the energy medicine of the future.

  Green?  Green + Y = Energy!   Because GREEN is the prime energy into the Human Being.   If their emotional content were a little off, one would take the posture he described, to increase the flow, and send and "fire" the yellow finger.

   David did a demo of the yellow and green energies, with volunteers.  They felt the difference.  It was more than symbolic.  It was very scientific, as they sent a beam of energy over a distance.  So it was possible, too, to do this in a dance as well.  Dancers would use this to energetically change the state of the energy of the audience.

Energy bands of Power:

     There are 7 bands of power, 7 prime bands of energy — not the chakra system --- that one can draw upon.
     We live inside the energy worlds of the great mother – of the planet.
     The planet has 7 prime energetic  frequencies, just as if you shine a white light through a prism, you would see 7 colors.   7 laws.   Just as in the Bible, the covenant between God and Man is the Rainbow.  Anything that gets expressed, does so in the nature of 7.    Red to Violet by going through Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet.

   Energy Mapping.  Each of the 7 frequencies contain each of the 7 colors.
   "Dominus illuminatio mea", the motto of Oxford: The Lord is my light.
   The higher you go, the greater the Illumination – Enlightenment.  It is a quest for Enlightenment.

    The Sun Disk is seen around certain people.  This occurs when energies that are so strong, inside the brain — when there are energies of sufficient power, it enters the human being, comes inside the head and switches on — activates — the pineal gland – from dormant to active, and energetically, starts to spin and send out a signal — a golden yellow radiation.   Looks like a halo.   A person with a halo has a switched on head!

         Internet Radio is an excellent tool -- informative, convenient, "green", inexpensive, uniting and much more.   If you have a computer, internet connection, sound board and speakers, you can listen to practically any "regular" radio station in the world, by going to their website and click on their "ListenLive".  This summer radio reception was interrupted when construction in our building was taking place.  I wanted to listen to an AM radio show so I went to their website and received perfect reception.  Sometimes I listen to NPR in the US via their internet site.

What we -- The Toronto Dowsers -- are doing --- have been doing is -- working with subtle energies, i.e., becoming more aware of them, what they are, understanding them, sensing them, detecting them and -- not exactly -- manipulating them but causing them to change by taking or making an action (which can include thoughts and feelings) that change them.  Our speakers reflect this focus since their teachings show, instruct us -- directly -- in many of the aspects it is beneficial for us to know.

Here is some more information, from David, from our radio interview and subsequent conversations:

==>  "...The increasing power of the energy worlds of the planet."  The planet has cycles which are ... these involve changes in the power in the energy worlds in the power in the energy worlds in the planet and in the energy worlds between people.

Humans are particle producers. ... there is a high degree of electrical current.

The energetics, passing through the human system right now are beginning to get stronger.

    When 2 people meet, the exchange of energies between them forms a unique combination.  Never exactly happened in that form before, and it never will again.  It can be very mild, like 2 strangers passing each other in the street, almost like brushing shoulders, they brush energy fields ... there is a very minimal exchange, they walk on and those signals are quickly dismissed from their lives, and they don't really think about each other again.  2 other people, can meet in a circumstance where there is such a power that passes between them, that the 3rd power (which is formed) and which I call the relationship field, is so strong that it changes the course of their lives.   That's an actinic attraction, a fatal attraction, it has different names, but >>> it is rooted in the nature of energies that is in their individual fields  ....
     2 people can come together and produce an energy field that is, as one example,  primarily intellectual, such as 2 professors, living together.
     For some reason they are so much on the same frequency, there is so much shared energy between them, that tremendous amounts of power, like relationship lightning, leap across the gap and this is what happens with what I am calling "energy dating".  When 2 people, feeling uplifted and enhanced and made well, by having time together, its very natural for them to say "Let's meet again on Tuesday.  And if they both feel lifted up by the experience, they are keen to meet again.  We all know this, in our own life and experience.
      With regard to man woman relationships, it is not that the man falls in love with the woman or the woman falls in love with the man, they both fall in love with the 3rd thing that happens between them.  If that 3rd power, which is why in the book Partners in Passion, I write as love as a 3rd power, so one and one comes together to make 3.  That 3rd power comes to fill the house where the couple live.  The difference between a house and a home is the energies that are released into the atmosphere.  The home is the place where that 3rd field gathers in strength, gathers in power and it is able to have different qualities according to the level of the energy worlds that people produce there.

Example: In an abusive relationship, it produces a low level energetic signal that goes into the place, goes into the walls, goes into the furniture.  Someone else comes in, who lives at a higher level signal, would feel a bit icky, it gives them the creeps, there is something they don't like about it.

[I was telling this to our lovely Diana.  Diana said "of course.   I was clearing a house one time and the energy was so bad, there were frozen thought forms there, they were not good frozen thought forms.   Looking at these frozen thought forms, I could see the history of the people living in the house, before I cleared them."]

NUMBERS:   Mike and George gave us a couple of T Shirts.   They were used as a prizes for a small contest at our October meeting.  I was thinking of a 3 digit number, I saw the number, in my mind, very clearly.   The 2 people who dowsed closest to this number would get the shirts.  The number was "287".  Zach dowsed 277 ---the closest.  As he was there with his lady friend, both shirts were given to them.
        Interesting, that 4 very good dowsers all dowsed:  396.   We are still wondering why that happened, what the connection, if any, was.

BACK TO MILK:    Why the intransigence to refuse to change Canada's dairy laws?  You know its about the dollar and not at all about health.  I finally found an article, in the October 27 issue of the Financial Post (I was actually reading the newspaper itself!) that explains this, or at least helps to explain it, which would be the real motivation, in Canada, behind the milk raids, such as the one that started it all off, for us, on Michael Schmidt's farm, November 21, 2006.

     It has enriched dairy farmers, blackened Canada's reputation as a free trading nation, forced Canadians to pay a hidden regressive tax on dairy products at the checkout counter and undermined the efficiency of both dairy farmers and commercial users of dairy products.
     Now that our dollar is almost at par, compare the cost of cheese at your local Costco or Wal-Mart to the prices at Costco or Wal-Mart in Buffalo. You cannot buy dairy products at U.S. prices in Canada because the government granted dairy farmers a monopoly on milk production. It's called supply management.
     So who sets the price of milk in Canada? It's the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC), established by the federal government to serve the needs of dairy farmers. Two of the three commissioners of the CDC represent dairy farmer interests. The chief executive of the CDC, John Core, is a former Ontario dairy farmer and dairy bureaucrat.
     The CDC reviews the price dairy farmers can charge for milk, based mainly on their costs of production, which include labour and depreciation.  Following its annual review on Nov. 19, the CDC will set the price of milk for the coming year. In other words, the dairy farmer representatives decide what dairy farmers can charge the public for milk.
     Under supply management, each province is allocated milk quota, which is distributed among its dairy farmers. Milk quota can be traded, and its price is an indicator of how lucrative it is to produce milk in Canada.
     The CDC publishes a thick glossy annual report in both official languages, but the dairy supply management system is so complex that few except dairy farmers and dairy bureaucrats understand it. For instance, the unit of measurement isn't a litter of milk; it's a kilogram of butterfat. Try figuring out what that is. There is fluid milk, as well as several classes of industrial milk used in dairy products. The supply management system is too complicated to understand, unless you make it your lifetime vocation, and that's just the way the dairy farmers and politicians like it.
     And speaking of politicians who created this system, it should come as no surprise that all four federal political parties are staunchly in favour of dairy supply management. The fact that the public at large is blissfully ignorant of how the system works, and how badly it is being ripped off, is of great relief to politicians, especially those representing the 80% of Canadians living in urban areas. The cost of dairy supply management is paid for by Canadians via a hidden tax at the checkout counter. This is comforting to politicians because this cost does not appear in government spending estimates.
      The cruelest aspect of dairy supply management is that it is a regressive form of taxation penalizing all of us, but especially the poor and needy. Those who can least afford it pay the same inflated prices for milk and dairy products as everyone else. With elections looming on the horizon both provincially and federally, now is a good time to raise this issue with your MP and MLA.

"The animals we care about most -- we eat them." -  Hal Herzog, professor of psychology at Western Carolina University. His research focuses on the psychology of human-animal relationships.

This next section started out -- intended -- to be a brief glimpse into the conditions of factory egg production and as more data came to light, rapidly turned into a larger, expose of the food bureaucracy. What it is really doing is this gives us an awareness as to how our federal and economical food systems operate, like the story last month, on prisons.  Us plain folks plain don't know this stuff.  If we did, we'd probably blow up the baffling beejesus!  You'll never see eggs, apples, chickens, string beans, peppers, etc., the same way again.

It has been postulated ... and not entirely discarded  ...  that the massive  horrific mess in the US this fall regarding eggs and salmonella ... was purposefully created with the cooperating collusion of the egg agribusiness industry ... to create pressure  ...  within the US government ... to pass the draconian Food (!) Safety Bill S 510, to "protect the public."

With more than 95 percent of all U.S. eggs currently coming from caged hens, and salmonella outbreaks sickening more than one million Americans every year, this isn't merely an academic debate. Salmonella poisons people, causing a nasty, painful disease that can be fatal to the very young, the elderly and anyone with a weakened immune system.

As you've probably heard, we are now in the midst of the latest in a long series of salmonella outbreaks caused by bad eggs. More than 500 million eggs have been recalled in the last two weeks. And once again, industry representatives are claiming the problem has nothing to do with the practice of housing hens for their entire lives in cages where they are barely able to move. Anyone who would tell you otherwise, they say, is probably an animal rights zealot with a hidden agenda.

But wait a minute. The editor-in-chief of the trade journal Egg Industry is certainly not what most people would call an animal rights advocate. What is his opinion of the industry position that squishing living birds into tiny cages has no bearing on public health? Such claims, he wrote recently, not mincing his words, are "invalid... unconvincing, unsupportable and easily refuted."

Though his remarks might not be popular at the next gathering of egg industry moguls, they are in fact correct. There have been nine scientific studies published on the issue in the last five years in peer-reviewed journals. Every single one of them has found increased salmonella rates in eggs coming from facilities that confine hens in cages.

Summing things up, an article earlier this year in World Poultry, aptly titled "Salmonella Thrives in Cage Housing," found that eggs from hens kept in cages consistently carry an increased risk of salmonella.

This morning, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) began an ad campaign pointing out that every one of the more than half a billion eggs involved in the current recall came from hens crammed into cages. The practice of forcing egg-laying hens to live their entire lives in tiny cages isn't just an animal welfare concern, say the ads. It is a public health issue. Housing hens in cages so small they can't take a single step is not just inhumane. It is a public health menace.

Should we be suspicious of the HSUS? The group is, of course, fundamentally an animal protection organization. But does that automatically mean they are stretching the truth? Not according to a study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology. The study suggests that by switching to cage-free production systems the egg industry would likely reduce the risk of salmonella to the American public from bad eggs by 50 percent.

Except that the boat is already rocking. As of January, 2012, it will be illegal to house laying hens in cages anywhere in the European Union. In the U.S., the states of Michigan and California have already passed laws phasing out the practice of confining hens in cages. In California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill requiring that all whole eggs sold in the state be cage-free by 2015. And other states are considering similar legislation.

The egg industry defends the status quo by threatening that healthier eggs from better treated birds would be vastly more expensive, and thus would mean more malnutrition among the poor. It's a powerful argument, except it's not true. If you factor in the economies of scale, going cage-free need add only about a penny an egg to the retail price.

• The production of eggs in Canada is regulated by supply management. It is a unique Canadian marketing system that matches farmers' production with what consumers need and want.
• Canada has approximately 1,050 regulated egg operations. The typical operation has between 17,000 and 18,000 hens for a total Canadian laying flock of almost 19 million.
• Like the Milk Marketing board, Canadians also have to contend with a federal Egg Marketing Board called  Egg Farmers of Canada.  And provincial boards, such as Ontario Egg Producers.
• They are now in a building in Ottawa with the Dairy Farmers of Canada, the Canadian Federation of Agriculture and the Canadian Hatching Egg Producers.
• Then there is a chicken board – which also restricts the number of chickens a person may have.
• Approximately 60% of the value of all agricultural products produced by Ontario farms is marketed through twenty-one provincial marketing boards and three representative associations.  some boards simply provide market information to their producer members and support research and promotion, while others also negotiate with processors to determine the price that will be paid to growers.

    * Responsible for five tender fruits - peaches, pears, plums, sour cherries and sweet cherries.
    * Establishes annual prices, terms and conditions of sale for product grown for processing.
    * Processors contract with individual growers and payment cheques flow through the board to growers.
    * Establishes weekly prices for tender fruit sold on the fresh market.
    * Licenses fresh produce dealer/shippers who pay growers directly.

Boards that Regulate Production and/or Marketing Through Quotas: 3rd Level
The following boards have the authority to determine how much each farmer can produce and/or market through quotas. Generally, these provincial boards have an agreement with some or all of the other provinces to estimate future national demand for their commodity and to share the required production based on each province's historical share of the market. Prices that will be paid to growers are either:
   1. set by the board based on avail-able market information as well as input from, or discussions with, buyers or
   2. negotiated by the board with the buyers.

A  rare  sight Petra, one of our members, saw this rare white squirrel near her home in the west end last month.  Not only that, she managed to take a very good photo of this elusive crittur.

October 25, 2010:  Municipal Election Day, ?Ontario? yes for the City of Toronto:   Toronto held municipal elections for:  Mayor, (44) City Councillors, School Trustees; and Municipal elections as well in many other towns.

Toronto was to elect one councillors in each of  the 44 wards. There were almost 300 candidates.  I figured this was a good time to start the "education" efforts of City Councillors --- if they were not yet aware, as to the issues -- health issues, of course -- emanating from the use of  WiFi, Cell Phones, Cordless Phones, Electricity and so on.   The best time to get the attention of --- and a reply is --- election time.  This happens here once every 4 years.

IF YOU ARE HAVING AN ELECTION IN YOUR REGION AND WOULD LIKE TO USE THIS QUESTIONNAIRE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO SO.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTATION, PLEASE CONTACT MARILYN.

As this is not [yet] a high profile campaign issue, the idea was to:
See which candidates were aware of the issue and were they open to looking into the issue
See which candidates would like to be kept informed on the subject
Let the voters know where their candidates stood.
Let us know what needs to be done after the election.

7 very simple, very basic questions, which provided a heck of a lot of information.   If your candidate were to comment, as 2 did:

• "This is a health issue that is beyond the purview of municipal government.  You should be directing this to the Provincial Minister of HEALTH.", OR
• "I hope no matter what becomes of the elections that this serious issue can get the attention it need."

One of the biggest problems that we have been dealing with is that the elected officials pretend this situation does not exist.  At least 2 candidates, Mary-Margaret McMahon, in Ward 32 (Beaches / East York) and Sarah Doucette, Ward 13 (Parkdale/High Park) know about this issue and! want to know more and they say they will look into it! (see below).

Of the 29 respondents,  Question 1:  21 replied "yes"    2 replied "no"
Question 4:   19 replied "yes"    2 replied "no"

This was a hugely useful activity.   Because now they can not hide.  They can not say they are unaware of the problem.   They must deal with it, one way or another.

(1)   Are you aware that many people feel that:
    a)       The installation and activation of cellular phone masts (antennas)
    b)       The proliferation of: Cellular phone use, WiFi
      is harmful to their health and to the health of children?

(2)    Do you agree that activated cellular phone antennas, and/or the use of cellular phones and/or the use of WiFi  *may*  be harmful to the health of children, teenagers, adults, pets and plant life?

(3)     Are you aware that the blood brain barrier of children, much like their brain tissues and bones are not as sturdy or as well developed as the same structures in adults?

(4)     If you are elected, will you implement a serious investigation into the use of WiFi in schools with a focus on the health effects on children?

(5)    Do you understand that those who feel that their health has been impaired by the use of Cell phones, cordless phones, cell phone antennas and WiFi  believe that the problem is not from the thermal effects alone, which is the only measurement considered by Health Canada Safety Code 6 Standards, but that exposure to electromagnetic radiation [especially involuntary exposure] causes detrimental biological effects on living tissue?.

(6)   Are you aware that the use of transmitting so-called “smart” meters which are supposed to be used to measure electrical usage, create detrimental health effects for people, pets and plant life and more?

(7) If you are elected, will you establish a task force to respond to, investigate and take action regarding the grievances of the citizens of Toronto who feel that their health is being harmed by the growing proliferation of cell phone antennas, cell phones, WiFi and (so-called) “smart” meters and especially the additional harm caused  by involuntary exposures?

8.    Would you like information on the health effects of:   Cell phones, cordless phones, WiFi, Cell phone antennas and all known sources of electropollution?

For the a first time with such an activity, it worked out quite well.  As I missed quite a few pivotal candidates I should have obtained contact information for all the 294 candidates, and I should have started this at least 2 weeks earlier.   I sent it out 8 days before the election.  As it was, there was a 15% response rate, which is pretty darned good!

The Rest of the Story Last month I reported about a Horrifying Experience, i.e., that one of my close, beloved family members invests in Monsanto.  Oh Cruel World!

October 23, Dr. Joseph Mercola reported: "Evil Monsanto Finally Reaping Its Just Desserts:

      Monsanto, the giant biotechnology agriculture company that created genetically modified corn, soybeans and herbicides, isn't riding so high this year in the stocks department, as news comes in that its products aren't working like they'd hoped.
      According to the New York Times, weeds are becoming immune to Monsanto's herbicide Roundup, and its latest genetically modified, 8-gene corn is a flop, producing yields no higher than the company's less expensive corn, which contains only three foreign genes.
     "Monsanto has already been forced to sharply cut prices on SmartStax and on its newest soybean seeds, called Roundup Ready 2 Yield, as sales fell below projections, and the Justice Department is investigating Monsanto for possible antitrust violations."
     "Until now, Monsanto's main challenge has come from opponents of genetically modified crops, who have slowed their adoption in Europe and some other regions. Now, however, the skeptics also include farmers and investors who were once in Monsanto's camp."
     Monsanto was named "company of the year" by Forbes Magazine in December. Last week, television stock market commentator Jim Cramer said it "may be the worst stock of 2010," the Times said.
     Since the 1980s, Monsanto has become the world leader in genetic modification of seeds, succeeding in at least 674 biotechnology patents, more than any other company -- and they showed no signs of stopping … until now.
     It seems Monsanto's glory days may be coming to an end, which is a refreshing turnaround from last December, when Forbes declared this evil corporation "company of the year" -- for reasons that truly boggle the mind.
     Now, the tide is turning, and as the Times pointed out, signs are suggesting that Monsanto's "winning streak" is over:
          Monsanto's newest genetically modified (GM) product, SmartStax corn, provides no greater yields than older products, despite being more expensive
          Weeds are growing resistant to Monsanto's Roundup
          The Justice Department is investigating Monsanto for possible antitrust violations
     Already, shares of Monsanto's stock have fallen 42 percent since January, and earnings for the fiscal year are expected to be well under projections.  Yay!   Rejoice!
     To say this news makes me overjoyed is an understatement, as this company represents one of the biggest threats to our future health, and to that of the planet."

Talk about getting used to new ideas.  My family was very worried for me, many moons ago, when I became involved in another of my weird ventures.  These things called:  Computers.

When I was first introduced to this brand new universe, I was very lucky to receive an excellent foundation in computing, from folks who worked at Palo Alto, in Cambridge, on the Mars Project, the Jupiter Project, those who built some of the operating systems of the then DEC mainframes.   I even got the gist of Assembly Language.

When we all first started using dowsing not just in passive mode, for detection, but in active mode, to change energies I helped what was then a very good and very well known dowser to comprehend how programs worked, which he then incorporated into his teachings.  Emotional people patterns operate in ways that are very similar to computer programs, as do mind control programs et al.   I introduced to him the concepts not just of programs but backups, off site, master programmer, etc.

So now all this yikettyyak about changing your life, changing your situations.  Is it possible?  Yer darn tootin it is.  Do-able?  Absolutely!  AND!  As we attempt this, you want to know what you can change and what you can not, which is where the RAM and the ROM come in --- no its not a Punk rock group or related to Rama Lama Ding Dong.

RAM = Random Access Memory.  Changeable
ROM = Read Only Memory.   Hardwired.

Your ROM is the operating system that comes with the machine and can not be changed.  Such as, you have 2 eyes.  Not one.  Not five.  One heart.  You breathe, sleep, ingest food.  As of this moment, I believe that the death of the body, by a certain age, is also ROM.  Maybe that will change in updated versions?

RAM are programs, too.  But programs that can be changed!  This is where programs that are being used currently by the processor to run the program are held.  They clear when you lose power or shut down the computer.   It could be programs to run word processing or graphics.  Know what?  You can change these!   You can update them.  Delete them.  Get a new version or a new program.  If you want the same functionality, but don't necessarily like how your program is operating, you might want to get a new one.  For Word Processing, e.g., change from WORD to WORDPERFECT.   Of course you have to learn new habits, but you can do that.

Many are endeavoring to change their habits, their patterns.  This is the RAM.

Last week a concept presented itself to my awareness (that's a New Age-y way of saying a thought popped into me head) as to how we can, absolutely, yes, seriously, make a big change -- with regard to corporations and how they do things.   I emailed some Toronto Dowsers about it, thinking folks would think I really spent too much time in LotusLand recently and OH MY!  SUCH a response!

CHANGE   THE   RAM   OF   OUR   WORLD

        1- On Friday, in a meeting with a financial advisor, he said that the purpose of Corporations is to make as much PROFIT as possible for the SHAREHOLDERS
        2- Saturday, reading "Life, Inc., How the World Became a Corporation and How to Take it Back" by Douglas Rushkoff, he writes:  "Corporations didn't evolve naturally. The landscape on which we are living--the operating system on which we are now running our social software --  was invented by people, sold to us as a better way of life, supported by myths, and ultimately allowed to develop into a self-sustaining reality. It is a map that has replaced the territory.  As the speculative economy collapses under its own weight, we can build a real and human scaled society to take its place."  He writes about some of the history, too.
        3- Saturday night, listening to Bruce Lipton, he said:  "Corporations in our world have one primary function.  All corporations, their primary function is to make MONEY for the SHAREHOLDERS. "
         THREE!   okay, that means listen UP!

         We know all the above to be accurate.  yes?
         We understand this is so and we accept it, yes?
         We are not exactly enamored with this situation, yes?
         So why don't we start changing it?  Yes!  (This idea is so easy, you'll laugh.)
         And, we know that Dowsers can Do It!   Naturellement!

      Corporations have fabulous structures, people, resources, wealth, research facilities and more.   All these wonderful material goodies.  What they are totally screwed up about is not at all material --- it is their  Purpose.  Intention.  Goals.   You heard the man:  Create as much PROFIT for the SHAREHOLDERS as possible.

      Corporations can do good.
    "All" that needs to change, is the Purpose. Intention. Goals.
    "All" we need to see changed, is the Purpose. Intention. Goals.
    "All" we have to start changing for them is the Purpose. Intention. Goals.

   So how about we make just a very slight change to:

      What do you think?  I thought about JOY or HAPPINESS --- but they might translate that, once again, into Profit.  When and where there is LOVE, truly, love,  in you, you want to give, selflessly.   Abundantly.   Totally.   Endlessly.  Yes?

      A seed has been planted.   If we begin to hold this concept, this feeling, this intent, this burgeoning growth in our consciousness, our quickly strengthening consciousnessES, it can and shall grow, take root and flourish.   And share it.   And move it on.   Especially, as during this time, it is a concept worthy of growth which gives it additional vitality.

       So the idea, above, is sent to you.  It is just a start.  Or the end in itself.  What do you think?

   It should be easy to make this shift.  After all, this is what this time is about --- changes in consciousness.  Also, this is not a physical change, which is more difficult to effect because the physical is so dense, but an energetic change and aligned with a shift from physical valuation to spiritual valuation.  We want this change effected, let us help to make it happen more quickly.

     Eminent Orientalist and Biblical scholar,  Azeri-born (Azeri, Azerbaijani, southwestern Asia, primarily in Azerbaijan and northwestern Iran, closely related to Turkish) American author Zecharia Sitchin was initially distinguished by his ability to read ancient Sumerian clay tablets and other ancient texts.
     Through such texts, religious documents and archaeological findings, he reconstructed epic events that support the existence of extraterrestrial "gods" who once set nation against nation, and man against man.  A graduate of the University of London, he was a journalist and editor in Israel for many years. He spent his final years in New York.
     His books promoted an explanation for human origins involving ancient astronauts. Sitchin attributed the creation of the ancient Sumerian culture to the Anunnaki, which he states was a race of extra-terrestrials from a planet beyond Neptune called Nibiru. He believed this hypothetical planet of Nibiru to be in an elongated, elliptical orbit in the Earth's own Solar System, asserted that Sumerian mythology reflects this view.
     Since the release of his first book The 12th Planet in 1976, now in it's 45th printing, Zecharia Sitchin has written seven other books as part of his Earth Chronicles series as well as six other companion books, all of which are still in print today. Sitchin's books have sold millions of copies worldwide and been published in more than 25 languages as well as braille.
     He was called "the most important proponent of the ancient astronaut hypothesis over the last several decades". Sitchin and his theories have been featured internationally in print reviews and articles as well as television programs such as the History Channel's Ancient Aliens the Series. He was also a frequent guest on the Coast to Coast AM radio show, which in 2010 presented Sitchin with a life-time achievement award.

As those of us in Temperate Climate go into the dark and the cold, this is the time to hibernate, to sleep, to rest.  Too many are too active during the winter solstice time when we should be quiet, resting.   The earth needs to rest, so should you.  Keep Oscillococcinum on hand, or use it as a flu preventative.   Nice time of the year to keep a pot of kukicha (twig) tea warm on the stove.   Chai, too.  This can be made by simmering:  Grated ginger, cardamom pods. whole cloves, a cinnamon stick for around 20 minutes.  Strain, serve with honey.   Use Coconut oil, internally and externally.   Take a little ginger.  cayenne pepper.  Turmeric.  Daily.

Mary Hardy  templeofsakkara.com  was our February 2003 speaker and changed our group and our hearts forever.  Mary brought us the Mound.  Before she came to us, our newsletters were about 20 pages long.  Her presentation was so amazing I transcribed the whole thing and since that time our newsletters remained at around 40 pages per issue.  Mary has a Conference one weekend every summer at her lakefront home in Allegan, Michigan.   One year, about 20 Toronto Dowsers went for the weekend.  New friendships were born, lives were changed.  That was the first time many of us did a fire walk, led by her friends from Hawaii, under clear skies a pregnant full moon, to the beat of the tom toms.  Mary wrote "Pyramid Energy, Philosophy of Man."   She and her husband Dean built a pyramid on their property after a family trip when they lost 6 hours of time when they were taken up.  Their youngest son, around 4 at the time, when they returned asked them to build him a pyramid, which he needed to do his work, otherwise he would leave, like he did with his previous family.  Mary Hardy is very experienced with Essential Oils.  Her husband, Dean, has been experiencing health challenges for the past few years and here is one way she is helping him:

Geoffrey Morell is a member of the New Zealand Charter of Practitioners and the author of The Healer: The Clendinning Technique. He is also one of the founders of the Weston A. Price Foundation, which provides practical advice on nutrition and cooking and  serves on its Board of Directors..   A rich lifetime of experiences, travel, living and healing, Geoffrey has amassed oodles of healing hints from many cultures, which he shares freely.

Our November 2010 speaker, 84-year-young Geoffrey Morell is not only an accomplished energy healer,  he is also an expert dowser.

A practicing naturopath, Mr. Morell has specialized in the field commonly called magnetic, intuitive, spiritual or psychic healing.

As a medical intuitive and spiritual healer he developed a technique to cleanse the aura of negativity and pinpoint the region of disharmony in the physical body.   He works to balance the entire human system and then  calls on one's connection to the great healing energy of the universe to set the patient on the way to good health.

Clients can feel like they are walking on air afterwards.   He can work at a distance with a photo and birth date. Healing can take place as long as subject is receptive, not persuaded.

Geoffrey says with assurance that we all have the ability to heal ourselves and others. He’d love to see more and more people developing their natural skills in energy healing. In order to be a healer you will have to abolish three things according to Geoffrey:  Ego, Jealousy,  Hatred.

He also would love to see all children entering school taught the following qualities: responsibility, reliability, respect, restitution and recreation. And by recreation he doesn’t mean sitting by a play station or computer playing games. He means healthy outdoor pursuits in contact with other people.

With continued government pressure on herbs, vitamins and non-toxic healing modalities, it behooves everyone concerned about health to learn the techniques of energy healing, as this may be the only modality available in the future. Fortunately, everyone has the capacity to be a healer.

When you see people walking out of a classroom with a look of awed reverence on their faces, you know they have just come from a presentation by Geoffrey Morell, or perhaps have had a session with him.  Originally from New Zealand, a naturopath and a well respected, cared about and renowned Dowser, Geoffrey has specialized in the areas working with magnetic, intuitive, spiritual or psychic healing.
