There is space provided for that, on the form. When our fees were first established, it was roughly figured that the annual dues would pay for the newsletter and other expenses, and the meeting fees would pay for meeting expenses. It was also figured on the basis that the printing and mailing of the newsletter would cost us $1.00 - $1.20. Your Toronto Dowsers newsletter production team must be stupendous magicians and printing and mailing brings the cost of each issue to around
$3.00. We do 8-10 newsletter issues per year and have other expenses as well.It used to be that we did not have to pay speakers as we provided an enthusiastic enough group of attendees who could offset any travel expenses by product sales, private sessions, workshop fees, but these times, too, are changing. We also do not sponsor more than 3 workshops per year, not just because of the extra work it means, but to be careful of your dollar and time as well. Each workshop we sponsor is carefully chosen.
Although our costs in the last little while have somewhat exceeded our income, it has been possible to maintain the fees due to your personal generous contributions, some of our product sales and discounts we have been able to negotiate. Please continue making your contributions.
Our finances remain in the black and if we run into a problem we can always take up a collection or 2. When the call goes out, you are generous. We are trying to remain, and succeeding in maintaining a stable fiscal position, providing good value for your fees and counting on the generosity of those who can and comprehend what we are accomplishing and why. The Toronto Dowsers remains one of the best values in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and the Planet. Please renew your membership. Now. THANK YOU.

Mostly all set up and moved in, we are just getting the place organized. Since its inception, many years ago, the Toronto Dowsers WALTER HUSZCZO LIBRARY, named for our dear friend, mentor and father figure, Walter Huszczo, of Burford, who left us December 2003, our library has grown. We started out with a couple hundred items which were brought to the meetings each month by our librarian. Items would be borrowed by members and returned the following month. Each year the library grew by over 100 items and it was too unwieldy to bring to meetings. So we were looking for a permanent home and we finally found one.
Thanks to contributions of furnishings and a few purchases, the walls painted, a rug, floor lamps, bookcases with books on them, now, even!!! We are almost ready to open our doors and shelves to our members.
Only paid up members in good standing may borrow these very carefully selected items. A borrowing fee is charged for the items, which will help to pay the rent and book purchases.
The location is about a 90 second drive from the end of Black Creek Road ... or by Weston Road / Jane Street ... or a 27 minute ride from the Ossington Station on the 161 Rogers Road bus that starts at Ossington Station. Well, you'll find your way there.
It is earnestly hoped that the library will be open before you receive the next newsletter. So if you are eager and are a paid up member in good standing and would like more information, please contact Marilyn.

He was supposed to be our April 2011 speaker, but a family situation prevented his visit to us. I saw Tao again in June and July. Wow. Absolutely mind blowing. I did an interview with him but have not yet posted it. (Maybe I can do it after I get out the newsletter?) When I asked him what he was doing, his reply: "I can see the divine blueprint in each person. What I do is to remove what covers up that blueprint and does not belong so we can be who we are supposed to divinely be." Hopefully Tao will be here spring 2012.YOUTUBE VIDEO . . . MARKUS! MARKUS! Prior to 1995, I recognized that I became involved, engrossed, in different areas for the joy of learning, exploration, discovery, creation. Such as French, cooking, sprouts, plants, computers, holistic health and nutrition, dowsing. In 1995 I found out about CODEX and my world changed. No longer could I merely uncover the best ways to approach food, digestion, nutrition, because I realized this was no longer possible. Too many of the avenues were blocked, shut down. Too many were adulterated. Too many were taken away. Because of the threat of CODEX and what was no longer health and healing, but the Politics of Health. It was no longer possible to be a health practitioner, no matter how dedicated, without being rudely and highly cognizant of the Politics of Health and the hugely criminal and asinine procedures and activities by the criminals we know as the FDA and Health Canada. Several people and groups refused to acknowledge these facts and I received very rude treatment when I persisted in informing. Most unfortunate. This became true, too, with dowsing groups. No matter where one turned, politics, power games, greed, manipulation, was rampant.
I started the Toronto Dowsers because I wanted more dowsing energy around me. I started the newsletters because I wanted to share with the dowsing community all the wonderful dowsing information that was coming my way. And, later on, it was other metaphysical information. Still is.
Times like this, I think of Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson and his colleagues -- they all wanted to be gentleman farmers. But implied threats from King George -- to their land and way of life -- were too obvious to ignore and they had to lay down their plows and pick up the pen and the sword. It is interesting that throughout our history, it seems to be farmers who first stand up for rights. Probably because they have the most to lose: their land.
As I put together our issues, I am aware that we are, after all, a Dowsing group. And it is clear that part of the profile of a real Dowser is someone who intensely seeks truth. We want to know what is really going on in the world. We are pretty savvy when it comes to sussing out the lies.
As I was compiling, e.g., the data for the article on the Canadian and US brown shirts (today's police), the Mega Quarry, California suing Boiron, etc., I was asking myself if this was the right thing. Do we really need to know this? Is it too depressing? So what?
I do not know if I made the right decision, or not, but I thought this is something you would want to know. Finding all this was pretty disheartening. I guess this is the Aquarian Age, where all the muck and lies come pouring out of the urn and we are seeing all the crap and boy is it UGLY! We also know that when something has been dirty for a long time it there is a lot of dirt that will come out, ugly dirt and finally its clean divine self, its essence, will appear.
Having said all that, I'm usually pretty optimistic because HALLELUJAH! we are expelling the toxins and really cleaning up but in the meantime we have to go through them. And all the crapola most probably is going to increase. Then, when we finally clean out the dirt, ...
I hope reporting all this is ok with you. Do you appreciate this kind of "information"? or not? I'll be glad to hear about your preference(s). Thanks for listening. If you are reading this newsletter from the Internet:

MAY 2011: Dr. Robert Gilbert visits the Toronto Dowsers every May for a presentation and a workshop. Dr. Gilbert spoke to us May 10th and 10 days later Dr. Karim joined all of us in Toronto and so, we had an fabulous double bill! We knew you would want to read about both of them, so in this issue here is Michelle Adelman's review of that extraordinary presentation and you can read about Robert's presentation in our next issue:
May 20, 2011: Dr. Ibrahim Karim / Dr Robert
Gilbert
BIOGEOMETRY: ESSENTIAL FOUNDATIONS,
NEW DISCOVERIES, AND FUTURE PROJECTS IN CANADA
It was a rare treat for the Toronto Dowsers to be addressed on May 20th by two of the group’s cherished presenters, Dr. Robert Gilbert of Asheville and Dr. Ibrahim Karim of Cairo.Robert began with an introduction to Dr Karim’s work that was so richly detailed, it had the sense of a presentation in and of itself. He began by saying that vibrational science is becoming a very big topic of underground research today, the full extent of which was made plain to him at a recent meeting of the ISSEEM (International Society for Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine) Conference that he spoke at this past June in Colorado, where he observed the multitude of researchers now preoccupied with this area.
Dr Karim’s body of work can put it all together into one holistic science. His work follows logically from the work of pioneers in the field of vibrational science who went before him.
Historical record shows that once the electromagnetic spectrum and the periodic table of elements had been discovered, French scientists Louis Turenne and André de Belizal came along in the 1930's to complete the vibrational spectrum. Their scope of work came to be called “Radiesthesia”. Enel (pseudonym for the Russian Scariatin) went on to discover that particular illnesses carried specific vibrational signatures, each of which could be antidoted by another vibration. Then Dr Wolfgang Ludwig identified four vibrations required for living systems to flourish.
When World War II intervened, much of this work, especially the work of the French radiesthesists, languished in privately-held documents. Many years later, Dr Ibrahim Karim, an Egyptian architect and professor of Architecture, happened to be introduced to the French work by an Egyptian doctor who practiced medical radiesthesia.
Dr Karim’s fascination with the work grew and finally resulted in his being gifted the original materials of the French radiesthesists by the Maison de la Radiésthesie in France. The outcome of Dr Karim’s study of radiesthesia, among other esoteric subjects including Egyptian temple science, was BioGeometry®, what Dr Karim labels a science of energy balancing or “nature’s own design language.” BioGeometry® is based on the key principle of resonance and harmonics and provides methods with which to detect, differentiate and manifest precise energy qualities.
BioGeometry® diverges from modern quantitative analysis - which is limited to the physical plane - by developing a method of qualitative analysis which can access vibrational energies. These energies are subtle and therefore undetectable by the equipment developed for quantitative analysis, and yet these subtle radiations do affect the human energy system. Employing what Dr Karim calls, “the physics of quality,” he has been able to isolated the three vibrational qualities that balance all living systems, calling them the “BG3.” These qualities are most strikingly found in geometrical stapes, including the precise centre of a circle, the bisecting line in an angle and beyond the starting and ending points of a line segment. In uncovering the BG3, the energy which balances and centers all living systems, Dr Karim has done “breakthrough work,” according to Robert.
The three component vibrations of the BG3 are:
One of the principles of BioGeometry® is that energy moves into shape and shape determines function. From this understanding flowed the development of "BioSignatures®,” which are two-dimensional diagrams representing the three-dimensional energy flow through healthy organs. Dr Karim has used these to great effect in healing through resonance and restoring circulation of energy to organs that have been impaired.- prepared by Michelle AdelmanWhen the energy quality of waves is understood, tweaking the amplitude and wavelengths of electromagnetic waves can imbue them with the centering qualities of the BG3. The detrimental biological effects of toxic radiations can be mitigated with the use of vibrational corrections, tools that are placed directly on the source of detrimental energies. This type of correction can be accomplished with electromagnetic radiations as well as with earth energy lines.
A number of notable BioGeometry® projects and experiments have been carried out by Dr Karim to date.
The Egyptian National Research Centre undertook a project to evaluate Dr Karim’s methods by placing one of his geometric forms over a single cell culture while leaving a second cell culture undisturbed. The multiplying cells under the BioGeometry® form were successfully paralyzed in the experiment.
In a subsequent Hepatitis C experiment involving 300 participants and conducted at Al Azhar University in Cairo, 90% of those treated with Biogeometrical forms showed normalization of liver enzymes, a higher rate of success than evidenced with interferon treatment. When a significant number of participants also showed viral clearance, Dr Karim’s work began to attract a lot of attention in the Middle East.
In the Chicken Farm Pilot Project, Dr Karim used specially-positioned colour panels to create BG3 in the pen. No feeding of antibiotics to the chickens was permitted during the course of the experiment. The results showed that the chickens grew faster, seemed healthier and their flesh later was shown to emanate BG3.
In the Apple Project at the Wageningen Agricultural University in Holland, Dr Karim used both colour and shape to create BG3 in the apple orchard. No use of fertilizers or pesticides was permitted during the experiment. Some resulting BG3 apples, along with some control apples, were then stored in a 21 degree Celsius apartment for a month, upon which the control apples were found to be rotting while the BG3 apples remained in good condition. This led to the conclusion that the shelf life of a product can be lengthened by increasing the products vitality.
In the “Ammar” Salt Water Planting experiment, three methods were used in planting sweet potatoes: 1) some were grown normally with fresh water 2) some were grown with salt water and 3) some were grown salt water that flowed along channels into which BG3 shapes had been installed. As expected, the salt water potatoes barely grew, the freshwater ones grew normally and the BG3 potatoes grew well.
There is a world of potential application for BG3 in industrial design, including pharmaceuticals, vehicles and cell phones. By changing the shapes of these products, the effects can be controlled.
In the Silent Sound CD project in Holland, Dr Karim employed a variety of BG3 energy sources and captured their output on CD. The result enhances spiritual exercises.
The well-known water researcher, Masuro Emoto, has said that water imbued with BG3 produces more standardized crystals than in any water he has tested.
In Hemberg, Switzerland, Dr Karim undertook a high-profile project to mitigate the detrimental health effects of a cell phone tower positioned in the village’s church tower. Reported effects included the departure of the area’s bats and birds, nervous behaviour of domesticated animals -- those confined to pens suffered miscarriages, animals raised for food were found to have tumors when slaughtered -- and illnesses, including epilepsy, headaches, sleeplessness, etc., amongst the human population. Human emotions seemed affected too, resulting in people who had lost their will and their taste for life and whose relationships had soured. Although the Swiss government insisted that the radiation flowing from the cell phone tower fell within allowable limits, village inhabitants took to sleeping in basements to avoid the emissions. With the installation of BG3 tools to correct the problem, electrosensitivity symptoms were eliminated among the population and the town council presented Dr Karim with a key to the city. This was repeated in Hirschberg, Switzerland, whose residents experienced the same problems as the residents of Hemberg. Swiss television news did several interviews with Dr. Karim, and with the residents.
At the Elite Car Rental company in Geneva, Switzerland, Dr Karim inconspicuously affixed BG3 shapes to 4 of 8 Mercedes sedans. After three days, the drivers knew which four of the cars had been treated because their health complaints had vanished and even some of their most irritable customers seemed transformed when they entered the BG3 cars.
Dr Karim’s book, “Back to a Future for Mankind,” (which is now available on Amazon) addresses itself to bridging the gap between science and spirituality. He focuses on “geometric alchemy,” or using a geometric process to create spiritual energy and humanize modern technology by harmonizing electromagnetic radiation.
Modern technology has been a mixed blessing for mankind. While the benefits are obvious and enjoyed regularly, the damages are poorly understood. Electromagnetic radiation affects the two most important glands in our bodies: 1) the pineal (the tumour suppresser) and 2) the pituitary (the coordinator of body hormone production.) We have ignored the effects of electromagnetic radiation at our peril. With radioactivity, we face another threatening repercussion of modern technology, one which may have only one solution, a spiritual one.
While there has been a significant amount of government research undertaken into radioactivity in the last 20 years, very little of it has been made public. As a professor of architecture in Cairo, Dr. Karim undertook some of his own research in partnership with some of his graduate students.
They collected wide samplings of building materials and, under the auspices of the National Research Centre and used geiger counters to measure the radioactivity of each. Most were found to be radioactive. Three small 2’x2’ houses were built as cages for mice. One used non-radioactive material for the control group. The second house was radioactive and the third house was radioactive as well, but a BG3 shape was placed on the outside of the third. After two weeks, the mice in the control group were found to be normal while the mice in the radioactive house had golf-ball sized lymph node swelling with major organs showing damage. The mice in the radioactive house with the BG3 shape on it were found to be normal.
In the same way that BG3 is shown to protect against radiation, one could theoretically protect oneself with prayer, which accesses the same energy, but the prayer would need to be continuous.
We have tended to give most of our attention to electromagnetic waves while compression waves are the essential waves making up the universe. All movement creates compression waves, which lie at the basis of nature. The real carrier of electrosmog is actually the compression wave. Longitudinal compression waves can theoretically travel much faster than the speed of light.
Resonance means information exchange. With the law of resonance, one’s sensory perception may be narrow but information may still be received from zero to infinity.
One simple way to access the spiritual planes for human benefit is to draw an X-Y axis and to place one’s saliva along the 45 degree line, from which centering energy emanates. This resonance of the spiritual energy with the witness of the saliva, will fill the body with BG3.
In history, sacred power spots - which emanate BG3 - have always been at the core of human development. The power spots were detectable by Freemasons, and became the structural core of the cities they built, such as Washington, Cairo and Paris. Just as peaceful revolutions often started in temples, which were most often constructed on power spots, the recent Egyptian revolution was conceived and carried out in Tahrir Square, Cairo, which is a massive power spot, intersected by lots of earth energy lines. Dr Karim urged the detection of power spots (in Ontario) using pendulums and Google maps as well as their connection, one to another, using geometrical resonance. This energetic net would imbue our whole population with BG3 spiritual energy, transcending the boundaries of all religions and all beliefs to vitalize and protect every living being within its embrace.
Dr. Karim also gave us a stirring and emotional recounting of his experiences during the Egyptian Revolution this year, the gatherings in Tahir Square, the behavior of the citizenry, and how people were with one another. We all appreciated hearing the truth from the words of an observant person who lives there. At the end of his presentation, he talked to us about the long awaited "Toronto Project". Stay tuned. You can also see Dr. Karim this October 22nd at the Energy Psychology Conference in Toronto.
Welcome Back, Tracy McBurney! --- For A 10th Anniversary!
September 11, 2001, the Toronto Dowsers was scheduled for a meeting. Should we go ahead, or not? We decided to go ahead and it turned out to be an excellent decision because it brought us together for that fated evening of that tragic day. Tracy McBurney was the consummate speaker and gave us a superb very welcome presentation and a and much needed break during that paralyzing time.We have invited Tracy back for a 10 year anniversary because not only does it serve to commemorate that day, but also to see what information Tracy will impart to us this time. Tracy McBurney is a brilliant and educated intuitive in the areas of health, nutrition, anatomy, dowsing, energy medicine, aromatherapy, kinesiology, etc. Each time you listen to her you want to have a recording device going because she is always making these genius connections --- that are seldom if ever repeated.
Really. You really. do. want to hang around Tracy all day and just listen to her speak. With a recorder.
I met Tracy when she was one of my teachers at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. I was in the 2nd graduating class, the class of 1998. It's changed a lot since then. I --- all of us --- were, and still are --- in total awe of her. You do want to come to this meeting, you have to come to this meeting just to get to know her as best you can.
Tracy has a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and "all that stuff". THEN she is also very connected to how and what runs our emotions and the spiritual connections. Tracy is an absolute magician when it comes to connecting the dots and this is a way she outshines EVERYone.
The description she sent us for her September 20th does sound somewhat esoteric. There will be plenty of connections she will impart for nutritional, physical, yatta yatta causes and corrections. ... So, when you do come to hear her, so you don't get a sore throat from all the air passing through, you might need to remind yourself to close your jaw as it is apt to fall open in amazement at something, and stay there.....
Tracy chose an interesting title for her presentation: "An attractor is a set towards which a dynamical system evolves over time. That is, points that get close enough to the attractor remain close even if slightly disturbed. Geometrically, an attractor can be a point, a curve, a manifold, or even a complicated set with a fractal structure known as a strange attractor. Describing the attractors of chaotic dynamical systems has been one of the achievements of chaos theory."
Tracy McBurney currently teaches the curriculum on Energy Medicine at the Institute for Holistic Nutrition. She Tracy lives in Toronto and can be reached through her company Food For Thought at (416) 690-1243 or tracymcburney.com . Her new book, "Coming Home Messy", published by Hay House, is scheduled for release Spring 2012. You can see Tracy's description of this at: TRACY ON YOUTUBE

Paul Rademacher Executive Director Monroe Institute, Virginia |

At Monroe, they use a patented sound technology, developed by Robert Monroe, to help people move into altered states of awareness, or altered states of consciousness. Out of it grew/developed a program that helped people with different ways of perceiving the world, i.e., non physical reality, so that they become opened up to their extra sensory perceptions and the heightened perceptions of the 5 physical senses as well.Paul Rademacher, who was a minister for over 15 years, wishes to integrate the exploration of consciousness with religion and spirituality. The right focus of any true spiritual path is Infinity.
Monroe: Human consciousness is evolving, awakening to the discovery of Self. All of us are participants in the evolution of consciousness, the next great leap for humanity. We perceive ourselves to be more than just our physical bodies. We are connected to the universe through nonphysical dimensions and a holographic matrix of timeless information. Life itself is not something physical and death something spiritual. For us, life's experiences have taken on a new significance. We marvel at the wonder of an emerging perception of reality that has been here waiting for us to realize all along.
An accident in 1091 led Paul Rademacher to this path: He had a construction business and was on the roof, repairing it. He fell off the roof and fractured his hip. Something happened that never happened to him ever before. He had a mystical experience, entering into an altered state, as if a door had opened into an entire new reality. It just simply happened. He was in excruciating pain, felt himself spiraling downward and broke through to the other reality. All the pain and anxiety went away. He knew there was no such thing as an accident, and... well the rest of the story is pretty interesting, of course. Yes, he had an experience but one might question the path he took when interpreting it. We can all learn from this.
Paul Rademacher is Executive Director of The Monroe Institute, in Faber Virginia, known for its pioneering work in the exploration of human consciousness. His interest in consciousness exploration was sparked by a mystical experience that resulted from a construction accident in 1981. That profoundly life altering event convinced him to enroll at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1985. During his 15 years of service as a Presbyterian pastor, he studied extensively in the fields of consciousness and spirituality, seeking to bring together traditional meditation techniques with contemporary expressions of spiritual exploration. He is also a former building contractor, designer, and journeyman carpenter. Paul is an experienced public speaker, seminar leader, artist, closet musician, husband and father of three. His book, "A Spiritual Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe: Travel Tips for the Spiritually Perplexed", was released April, 2009 by Hampton Roads Publishing.
October 19: We will probably have a one day working
on "Exploring Consciousness".
Details to be announced.

Mediumship, Lily Dale
Mediumship is an area I have always been interested in. Not, necessarily to be a medium, but to know good ones and to be able to do it, to some degree, on occasion. I consider it to be one of the most important areas of healing. Does anyone remember "The Aquarian Hour", the radio show from CKTB AM 610 radio in St. Catherine's about 1991? Every day, Monday - Friday, 5:30 - 7, they would have a different metaphysical show. Mondays was Mediumship. Recently, I was told that Ann Toth, from the Fort Erie area, who passed in 2007, and did a sensational job, was the medium. People would call in to make a connection with someone who passed and she would, most often, do so, bringing messages. Usually driving home from work, I'd be driving, sobbing, listening to her messages (that was also when I heard that Gene Roddenberry passed. Big tears then, too.)August 12-13, a Toronto Dowser buddy and I went to Lily Dale for a weekend demo and workshop with mediums John Holland and Sharon Klinger. All was excellent, including the stay in Angel House. What do mediums do? They communicate with those on the other side who have passed on and bring messages to their loved ones here.
Doing mediumship ought to be not too difficult for those Toronto Dowsers who are proficient at getting into a meditative state. It reminded me of 'going to level' that we did in the Silva Method. All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums. John said the most important thing to do is to be grounded.
In his book, "Born Knowing", page 65, John Holland writes about circle groups: "When sitting in a circle, many people (including myself) experience various forms of psychic manifestation, including cold breezes, sparkles of light, a cobweb sensations, etc. The reason for this is that the spirit people use the group's combined psychic energy to draw close and strengthen their relationship with those who sit in the circle. Development circles must be harmonious in all areas and you must find the one that works for you.
He also wrote "The Spirit Whisperer - Chronicles of a Medium". Another good read.
Lily Dale is the oldest spiritualist community in the US. It is in New York, about one hour SW of Buffalo. Established in 1879, they are open year round but run workshops from June - September. For Dowsers, walking around Lily Dale, we are reminded of the importance of clearing out detrimental energies and establishing beneficial ones. The energy of the place, while it still needs help, feels so good --- because of the kind of community it is and the intentions that contribute to the fine high energy.
March 2011, residents of Ontario found out about plans for the purposeful creation of an unimaginable disaster, a new quarry that an American company, a hedge fund, was very very quietly planning and about to break ground for. This 2300+ !!! acre site, deeper than Niagara Falls!!! was planned on prime farmland, approximately one hour north of Toronto and would destroy the water sources and supply for much of Ontario!!!! a massive mining project that could poison a million people's drinking water. When this was uncovered, the word was spread, by citizen groups and sympathetic (but not necessarily mainstream) media. At first, the public had only 3 days to stop the quarry, i.e., so they would not get governmental permission of the go ahead. Tremendous public pressure has kept the project at bay. So far.For years, the company, Highland Companies, deceived Ontario residents, posing as a potato farming company and quietly buying up thousands of acres of land from local farmers. Then, it was suddenly revealed that the massive plot of farmland would be converted into a limestone quarry -- a pit so deep it would seriously interfere with the ground water system in the region. In order to start digging, Highland must win Ministry approval. This is in Melancthon, about 100 km NW of Toronto, in an area known for its lush farmland: strawberries, rhubarb, potatoes, beans, peas.
Legislation prohibiting this kind of rape is unclear and poor. It is not too difficult to get permission to go ahead, especially for a corporation with deep pockets. Massive amounts of citizen time, energy and other resources is the only thing that can stop this Borg like process and presence.
Many Toronto Dowsers --- actually anyone with an ounce of brain matter --- were, and still are, vehemently opposed to this insanity and have substantively contributed to making their voices heard. Here is some background and updates.

UPDATE: September 1, 2011 5:55 PM
Statement from Minister of the Environment John Wilkinson Regarding
Highland Companies Proposed Quarry in Dufferin County
"After careful consideration, the Minister of Natural Resources and I have agreed to bring forward a regulation making Highland Companies subject to the requirements of the Environmental Assessment Act. As a result the company will be required to undertake a comprehensive Environmental Assessment for the proposed quarry in Melancthon Township.
Ministry of the Environment officials have thoroughly examined the technical reports which were submitted by the quarry proponents. Based on a review of those reports, and because of the unique nature of the Melancthon quarry proposal, I believe a full Environmental Assessment is necessary.
The McGuinty government is committed to protecting our water and our environment. Today's decision ensures that a transparent and independent assessment of the environmental impacts of Melancthon quarry proposal will be conducted."
Population Morphing
Do you know what the newest ethnic majority in North America is? The largest population segment? Not just the US. Canada, too. Hispanic.
If you go to Toronto's Kensington Market, you will see at least 4 Mexican style restaurants --- which were not there a couple of years ago. You will see more Mexican restaurants in other parts of Toronto. In Toronto supermarkets, rather than finding taco shells in the aisle labeled "Ethnic", you will find aisles labeled "Mexican Food" and even have sections clearly labeled "Salsa".Hispanic Facts and Figures:
The first time I went to Asheville, North Carolina, I was surprised at all the Mexican restaurants. And there is a Mexican restaurant and general store in Holland, Michigan that is just as authentic as any place you'll find in, say, Guadalajara.Reversing, 2 of our members moved to Ecuador this spring.

And so it began: It's here!... 1987, the nascent beginnings of our eager innocence. Do you remember? Harmonic Convergence. The name given to the world's first globally synchronized meditation (August 17 and announced by José Argüelles and author of "The Mayan Factor and who died March 2011). This Harmonic Convergence closely correlated to an exceptional alignment of planets in our solar system and correlated with the Mayan calendar. This is a 25 year culmination of the 5,125 year Great Cycle of History, as well as the 26,000-year cycle of evolution, all slated to end in 2012. Another Harmonic event, the Harmonic Concordance, another planetary alignment, took place in 2003.That was when all the New Age-y stuff really moved into high gear. Post hippie, so cool its now Hot, 11:11, Angels, decrees, St. Germain, white clothing, purple clothing, being spiritual and on and on. We all totally joined in. Openly. Open hearts, open minds, open pocketbooks, never dreaming for an instant that sprinkled among the right on and well meaning and connected, caring and smart people were a bunch of sleazy carpet baggers who knew the code words, wore the right clothes and could spout the right purty phrases as they picked our pockets. (Both sides are still Out There, and, we probably disagree as to Who is What. S'okay.)
We have been told that we are in for some hard times which will be followed by 1,000 years of peace, enlightenment and many other good things.
Guess what. Hard times, weather wise at least, are here, they have just started to ramp up and I don't think we've seen the last of them. ... I do not know what has been going on around the planet, although I'd imagine many places are affected, but just looking at part of North America is enough:
January 2011: US East Coast: Record snowiest year for some. Blizzards dump one to two feet of snow across central, eastern and northeastern states, killing 36 people and causing insurance losses of $1.1 billion. Snow storms in the South (Southern US states) -- while the North was enjoying sunny and warm weather. Parts of North Carolina were at a stand still and closed down. They had never seen this before.April-May 2011: US: Tornados:The year began with the Groundhog Day Blizzard from Jan. 29 to Feb. 3, 2011, which caused large winter storm impacting many central, eastern and northeastern states. The city of Chicago was brought to a virtual standstill as between 1 and 2 feet of snow fell over the area. Insured losses from the disaster amounted to greater than $1.1 billion and the total losses stood at greater than $2.0 billion, besides 36 deaths.
Hartford, Connecticut had nearly 57 inches this month, beating December 1945 as the snowiest month on record. Another major snowstorm has left a painful mark on cities from Washington, D.C., to Boston. Schools and city governments are shut down. Planes are barely moving, if at all, at major airports. Trains and bus services are canceled or running on major delays.
Deb Markowitz, secretary of Vermont’s Agency of Natural Resources, says the state needs to assess whether 2011's rain and flooding were an aberration — a 100- or 500-year event — or whether they represent the “new normal”.
Midwest/Southeast Tornadoes, April 4-5, 2011: Outbreak of tornadoes over central and southern states (KS, MO, IA, IL, WI, KY, GA, TN, NC, SC) with an estimated 46 tornadoes causing over $1.6 billion insured losses and the total losses were greater than $2.3 billion, besides 9 deaths.
Southeast/Midwest Tornadoes, April 8-11, 2011: Outbreak of tornadoes over central and southern states (NC, SC, TN, AL, TX, OK, KS, IA, WI) with an estimated 59 tornadoes, which caused over $1.5 billion insured losses; total losses greater than $2.2 billion; and it resulted in numerous injuries; no deaths reported.
Midwest/Southeast Tornadoes, April 14-16, 2011: Outbreak of tornadoes over central and southern states (OK, TX, AR, MS, AL, GA, NC, SC, VA, PA) with an estimated 160 tornadoes. Over $1.4 billion insured losses; total losses greater than $2.0 billion; 38 deaths, including 22 reported in North Carolina alone.
Southeast/Ohio Valley/Midwest Tornadoes, April 25-30, 2011: Outbreak of tornadoes over central and southern states (AL, AR, LA, MS, GA, TN, VA, KY, IL, MO, OH, TX, OK) with an estimated 305 tornadoes and 327 deaths. Of those fatalities, 240 occurred in Alabama.
Midwest/Southeast Tornadoes, May 22-27, 2011 Outbreak of tornadoes over central and southern states (MO, TX, OK, KS, AR, GA, TN, VA, KY, IN, IL, OH, WI, MN, PA) with an estimated 180 tornadoes and 177 deaths. Notably, an EF-5 tornado struck Joplin, MO resulting in at least 141 deaths, making it the deadliest single tornado to strike the U.S. since modern tornado record keeping began in 1950. Over $4.9 billion insured losses for event; total losses greater than $7.0 billion; 177 deaths.MAY 2011: New England: As of Sunday, May 29, 2011, Lake Champlain has been at or above the highest level recorded in the last 184 years for all but a few days over the past month. It peaked several weeks ago at a record 103.3 feet. The big storm May 26-27, 2011 made the wettest spring on record even wetter.JULY 2011: Texas: The third hottest on record at Houston. Combined with the hottest June on record, the summer to date is now the hottest on record. It was also the hottest June-July at Galveston, where July was the second hottest on record.
Here is the report issued this morning by the National Weather Service: JULY TEMPERATURES WERE WELL ABOVE THE 30 YEAR CLIMATE NORMALS AVERAGING 3 TO 4 DEGREES WARMER THAN THE 30 YEAR NORMALS. JULY 2011 WAS THE THIRD WARMEST ON RECORD FOR HOUSTON AND HOUSTON HOBBY AIRPORT. IT WAS THE SECOND WARMEST ON RECORD FOR GALVESTONJULY 21, 2011: Toronto: The hottest day ever. Temperatures hit 37.9°C, feeling like 49 with humidity, making it the hottest July 21 ever as well as the warmest day in July. Additionally, the humidex at XTO (University of Toronto's downtown campus) was 51 at 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon. 100.22 ºF
SPRING/SUMMER 2011, US: Drought / Wildfires / Flooding:
Southern Plains/Southwest Drought and Wildfires, Spring-Summer, 2011: Drought, heatwave, and wildfires have created major impacts across the Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, southern Kansas, and western Arkansas and Louisiana. In Texas and Oklahoma, respectively, 75% and 63% of range and pasture conditions were classified in ‘very poor’ condition as of mid-August. Wildfire fighting/suppression costs for the region are also ~$1 million / day with over 2,000 homes and structures lost. The total direct losses (as of August 15) to agriculture, cattle and structures are well over $5.0 billion; both direct and total economic losses will rise dramatically as the event continues.
Mississippi River flooding, Spring-Summer, 2011: Persistent rainfall (nearly 300 percent normal precipitation amounts in the Ohio Valley) combined with melting snowpack caused historical flooding along the Mississippi River and its tributaries. Estimated economic loss ranges from $2.0-4.0 billion; at least 2 deaths. The event continues to unfold (as of 8/15): $500 million to agriculture in Arkansas; $320 million in damage to Memphis, Tennessee; $800 million to agriculture in Mississippi; $317 million to agriculture and property in Missouri’s Birds Point-New Madrid Spillway; $80 million for the first 30 days of flood fighting efforts in Louisiana.
Upper Midwest Flooding, Summer, 2011: Melting of an above-average snow pack across the Northern Rocky Mountains combined with above-average precipitation caused the Missouri and Souris Rivers to swell beyond their banks across the Upper Midwest (MT, ND, SD, NE, IA, KS, MO). An estimated 11,000 people were forced to evacuate Minot, North Dakota due to the record high water level of the Souris River, where 4,000 homes were flooded. Numerous levees were breached along the Missouri River, flooding thousands of acres of farmland. Estimated losses exceed $2.0 billion as the event continues to unfold (as of 8/15). The flooding also stretched into the Canadian Prairies, where property and agriculture losses were expected to surpass $1.0 billion, at least 5 deaths.AUGUST 27-29, 2011: Hurricane Irene: Devastates parts of North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Vermont with wind, floods. Record setting, record setting floods never ever seen before in some areas.Consider the vast devastation from all this weather to our farmland -- crops destroyed. Animals drowning or dying of thirst. Topsoil washed away. This has been a humongous blow -- a multitude of humongous blows -- to our farmland.Record flooding continues in the Northeast from Irene's torrential rains. Hardest hit was Vermont, where heavy rains in the weeks prior to Irene's arrival had left soils in the top 20% for moisture, historically. Irene dumped 5 - 8 inches of rain over large sections of Vermont.
The impact of natural disasters on the nation remain in the range of $55 billion so far in 2011. According to an estimate by NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center, nine major natural disasters had hit the nation causing economic damage worth $35 billion. With the addition of $20, the number may touch $55 billion, leaving aside the long-term impact of all these disasters in the East Coast in the next three years.
2011, so far, has probably been, in our lifetimes the most devastating year, weather wise, and probably the most devastating year, weather wise, for our culture(s). And yet, this is only the beginning, it is going to increase. Are we ready? Are we prepared for this, mentally and physically?
Note: August 29, 2005: Hurricane Katrina
The hardest hit state from Irene, was Vermont, a state I am intimately familiar with. Damage was expected from coastal areas, not inland. Vermont was damaged because of all the rain --- the soil and the many streams and rivers and their banks could not contain all the water. Streets, roads and fields became torrential rivers. Roads were washed away. Covered bridges were washed away. Towns were stranded, isolated because the roads in and out of them were washed away. This, on top of storms that also washed away roads just 3 months earlier.
Irony: I had built a house in Vermont. I had a feeling that there was going to be major flooding. I ask my insurance agent, an Allstate rep, for a rider for flood insurance. He told me I could not have one as he has never done it, as no one in the company had done it, they just don't have floods, it wasn't possible. Hmmm. I wonder if people had flood insurance today? If you are reading this newsletter from the Internet:

HOUSTON, April 27 (Reuters) - Severe storms and tornadoes moving through the U.S. Southeast dealt a severe blow to the Tennessee Valley Authority on Wednesday, causing three nuclear reactors in Alabama to shut and knocking out 11 high-voltage power lines, the utility and regulators said.
Governors in Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee each declared a state of emergency as more than 20 deaths were blamed on a recurring round of severe storms this week moving eastward across the southern United States.
All three units at TVA's 3,274-megawatt Browns Ferry nuclear plant in Alabama tripped about 5:30 EDT after losing outside power to the plant, a spokesman for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission said.
Right after I graduated university, since I was going to teach Spanish in the fall, I figured I'd better have some better experience speaking español. 2 other people and I answered Chuck's ad in the Village Voice for people who wanted to drive to Mexico, and Chuck, Gunther, Adela and I piled into Chuck's big ol Chevy Impala and headed south. After numerous adventures (I was verrry glad I was with 2 guys, as I quickly realized bopping around -- as being a long tall blond gringa was not exactly fun for me) we drove to Cancún, pretty much the "end" of Mexico, and parted ways. I took a ferry to Isla de las Mujeres and hung out and was having such a good time I was seriously considering accepting a straight up offer to stay there and work.
One of the most impressive memories, was the one we got -- daily -- about WEATHER!May to October is the rainy season. It rains every day, usually for a short duration. But the way it rains is the sky just opens up and dumps a sheet of water. Hard, fast, intense.
3-4 years ago I noticed our rains were becoming more like the rains in tropical countries. No longer raindrops making a nice pitter patter. Drenching fast falling floods. And often accompanied by high winds, you'd think you are watching the palm trees in a Miami Beach hurricane. Nope. This is Toronto. Our rains are now those of the tropical sort.
August 21, southwest Ontario got hit hard with heavy rains and winds. The town of Goderich -- considered the prettiest town in Ontario -- the central square, and much more of the town, was destroyed.
I went out 1 hour after the storm. 2 blocks from here, I see about 20 neighbors looking at something across the street. A big old tree, 3' in diameter -- came down and smashed 2 lovely old homes and a car in the driveway. This was not unusual that day. Trees were down, power was out, there was flooding all over Toronto
Wednesday, a storm front moved through, for about an hour with non stop lightning.
That was August 23. I had forgotten about all that because 2 days later, Irene visited.A message from one of our Goderich area members: "My husband was in Goderich at the time and had a "guardian angel" in the form of a salesgirl in Pharma Plus who, after checking his items out, remembered one of the vitamins he had purchased was on a 2 for 1 sale and sent him back to get another bottle of vitamins off the shelf. If it wasn't for that he would have been at his truck in the parking lot which was battered beyond saving by flying pieces of buildings. There are many stories like his where people believe they were saved by animals acting strangely, intuition, etc. One story is of a man sitting on his couch watching TV and heard his dog acting strangely in another room, went to investigate, the tornado hit and his roof collapsed on his couch. Here is one video link: youtube.com/watch?v=A89SX02_gMw . So, you can imagine the energy that was activated from the tornado and the results of it in our area ever since then. There is so much sadness, trauma, fear, etc.:
The above is what has been listed for our small section of the planet. I do not know much about similar events in Europe, South America, Asia, Africa. Probably similar. Again, this is the beginning of weather pattern changes, of violent weather.
Is ALL of this NATURAL or is it HUMAN CREATED? We know about weather manipulation. Was Hurricane Irene an 'ordinary' hurricane that was given some help? It is known that several countries possess tectonic weapons, which can induce earthquakes along natural fault lines. Have recent earthquakes that we've seen all been naturally caused - or have some been induced?
From Research Steve Quayle: "There are many disruptive earth changes all converging this month such as volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, and fires. The quakes in Colorado and the East Coast were rather anomalous. Strange sounds or hums have been heard in Kiev, as well as in Colorado before the quake, they are possibly connected with the use of what he called "shockwave weapons." There's a lot of manipulation going on, and there is technology that can not only steer or direct hurricanes, but can initiate volcanoes and earthquakes, according to two former Secretaries of Defense.Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin summed it up on "Democracy Now" program on August 29: "We didn't used to get weather patterns like this in Vermont. We didn't get tropical storms. We didn't get flash flooding," he said. "Our storm patterns weren't like Costa Rica. They were like Vermont." A landlocked rural state like Vermont isn't equipped to handle hurricanes.
The fires in Texas, exacerbated by the drought, cover an area 16 miles by 4 miles.
Heavy rains and mudslides from powerful Typhoon Talas left at least 20 people dead in Japan on Sept 4 as it moved slowly northward past the country’s western coast. At least 50 others were missing, local media said. Evacuation orders and advisories were issued to 460,000 people in western and central Japan. At least 3,600 people were stranded by flooded rivers, landslides and collapsed bridges that were hampering rescue efforts. The typhoon dumped record amounts of rain in some areas. It was the country’s worst storm since one in 2004 that left 98 people either dead or missing.
MANY US AND CANADIAN POLICE SHOULD BE WEARING BROWN SHIRTS:
WHAT??? in the WORLD has happened to our police? Since when did they become the ones we need to fear, the ones we need to protect ourselves from. Some of the events are truly unbelievable. This very alarming overly aggressive "trend" continues, flourishes.Wise words from Michael Schmidt, taken from The Bovine:As citizens increase their scrutiny of law enforcement officials through technologies such as cell phones, miniature cameras, and devices that wirelessly connect to video-sharing sites, the cops are increasingly fighting back with force and even jail time. Police across the country are using decades-old wiretapping statutes that did not anticipate iPhones or Droids, combined with broadly written laws against obstructing or interfering with law enforcement, to arrest people who point microphones or video cameras at them. Even in the wake of gross injustices, state legislatures have largely neglected the issue.
April 13, 2010, Maryland State Trooper David Uhler pulled over motorcyclist Anthony Graber for speeding and reckless driving. Graber had a video camera mounted to his helmet that was recording at the time of the stop. Uhler, dressed in street clothes, emerged from his unmarked car with gun drawn, yelling. Graber was given only a traffic ticket, but he was miffed at Uhler's behavior. So he posted the video on YouTube. Days later, Maryland State Police conducted an early-morning raid on Graber's home, held Graber and his parents for 90 minutes, confiscated computer equipment, arrested him, and took him to jail.
Graber was charged with two felonies. The first was violating Maryland's wiretapping law by recording Uhler without the trooper's consent. The second was "possession of an intercept device," a provision in the same law that was intended for bugs and wiretaps but in this case referred to Graber's video camera, a device that is perfectly legal to own and use in just about any other context. Thanks to legislation written to prevent the surreptitious interception of communications, Graber faced up to 16 years in prison for recording a cop during a public traffic stop.
Mary Anne Godboldo, mother of a 13 year old in Detroit Michigan, took her daughter off anti psychotic drugs. The Department of Human Services sent police to the house to take her daughter away from her because she did this. The cops showed up with a court order commanding her to relinquish her daughter so they could inject the drugs in the girl. She was charged with resisting arrest, firing a weapon. The judge threw out the charges, saying the warrant wasn't even signed . FOX News actually admits it shows how arrogant the government has become. This is what goes on in totalitarian countries.
Local Law enforcement agents in California, calling themselves NATs (Nuisance Abatement Teams) are forcing people to destroy their homes and off their land, with spurious excuses. Why? What is the land to be used for? Condos? Drilling? Who wants this land and why?
"Battle for the California Desert: Why is the Government Driving Folks off Their Land?" youtube.com/watch?v=yw3RiMdS7sEMay 12, 2011: Rochester, NY: A woman was standing in front of her house with a hand held recording device, recording a traffic stop in front of her home. She was arrested. youtube.com/watch?v=a7ZkFZkejv8
August 3, 2011: California: FDA destroys $85,000 of Organic Food: The FDA (supported by agents from Canada), for the second time since March 2011, raided an organic food Cooperative, a private buyer's club, the Rawsome Food Co-op, in Venice, California. Armed agents, guns drawn, poured milk down the drain, took eggs, cheese, butter, fruit for later destruction, confiscating club cash, computers, violating warrants (the basis for this was lied about in the first place), rights ....
We remember what happened to Michael Schmidt November 26, 2006 when 27 armed agents of the Ministry of Natural Resources raided dairy farmer Michael Schmidt's dairy farm, in Durham, Ontario, held everyone hostage (even the dangerous dairy maids and the dangerous cows) and confiscated equipment (so the cows could not be milked). This was similar and not the first time.
Summer 2010 and Summer 2011: As they have been doing for over 100 years, children in the US, run lemonade stands in the summer, to earn money, and because it is fun. These youngsters, who are usually between 7 - 16 years old might do this with our without supervision. June 12, 2010, I was in Chester, Vermont, which we were visiting as tourists. Some adorable kids, they must have been 10 or 11 years old, had set up a lemonade stand. We bought lemonade. (Today, Chester, Vermont, a typical Vermont tourist destination, is nearly destroyed thanks to Hurricane Irene.)
There have been several instances, these past 2 years where law enforcement officers, usually uniformed and armed police officers, are ticketing and/or forcing the shut down of these stands. The children's heinous crime: No vending license. In reaction to this gross and unnecessarily aggressive conduct on the part of the "peace" officers, non violent social activists are reacting.
Saturday, August 20, 2011, was "Lemonade Liberation Day". Children, and, activists -- mostly in their 20's, educated, non violent, calm, polite, well spoken took to their town squares to sell lemonade at 10 cents / cup.
A group of about 10 set up a stand on the White House Lawn. A larger group, of Washington, D.C. Capitol Police, came along, handcuffed and arrested "the perps". This was really stupid on their part. Now thousands have witnessed the DC cops thuggery, as they made fools of themselves. It would have been smarter if they just created a perimeter around these terrorist lemonaders. Especially ugly was the female cop as she smashed the camera with the vicious and smug expression on her face. This entire affair to be immensely disturbing, i.e., the way it was, and is being handled --- by the police, of course. If I knew any of the police officers, as relatives or acquaintances, that I'd be very disturbed with them over this. How can they live with themselves? Do they tell their children that what they did that day was to bust some kids who ran a lemonade stand? The activists, who are the next evolution of the Viet Nam War protesters and are much smarter, aware and better educated, are doing a great job.
This kind of policing has been going on for a long time. It is thanks to sites such as YouTube that we are now informed. This will lead to change. Change, which could be positive or negative. Stay tuned. You can see a 3:44' video at: youtube.com/watch?v=04MNf1YdNxI
Thanks to The Bovine, for posting Lemonade Liberation Day.
The Bovine thebovine.wordpress.com is an excellent blog that began about 3 years ago to keep people informed about Michael Schmidt's situation and rights issues around access to raw milk. It still maintains that focus while bringing in other information related to our freedoms. This is a superb source of accurate and real information. Facts.
Bovine comment: The recent August 3rd raid on Rawsome foods is just the latest in a long string of FDA actions against alternative health initiatives, as this story outlines. Natural News Health Ranger Mike Adams deserves special mention for his relentless coverage of the recent events around the Rawsome raid:
From Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews
Editor (at Natural News.com):
The US Food and Drug Administration has a
long history of conducting armed, SWAT-style raids on farmers, cancer treatment
pioneers and dietary supplement manufacturers.
What you see from this is a pattern of government-sponsored
terrorism against innocent Americans and small business people; all done
in the name of “protecting” the public from milk, walnuts, vitamins, plants
or fruit extracts. The real reason behind all this, of course, is that
the FDA has long waged a campaign of fear and intimidation against natural
product providers for the sole purpose of destroying the natural products
industry and thereby handing Big Pharma a monopoly over health treatment
medicines.

From Dr. Bill Deagle:
We’re going down because we haven’t changed our hearts:
“Unless your hearts are changed your world will die.”
“It’s literally a spiritual abortion that’s being done on the planet.”
“If we don’t get back in touch with Spirit instead of religion, we’re
going to all die killing each other for religion….”
“Speak out now because you’re going to be silenced shortly.”
“And you’re not just going to die a physical death.
You’re going to die a spiritual death.”
“The greatest sins are the sins of silence in the face of evil.”
This is one of the most widely noticed and ridiculous: Michael Allison, a 42-year old Illinois is facing 75 years in prison for recording video of police. He recorded police when they stopped by his mother's house regarding possible violation of a local ordinance, regarding unregistered vehicles. Michael wanted to record the conversation in case there would be threats, violence. He then filed a complaint with the police department about his violation, which he said was selective and recorded his visit to the police station. He went to court and was denied a court reporter during his hearing, so he recorded his court case. He told the judge he was recording everything. He was later arrested on 5 charges -- for recording everything without the consent of the police --- each which could bring a maximum of 15 years. Now he faces 75 years in prison for these videos as well as those recorded at a court proceeding related to the case. You can see this at: rabidmutt.com/?p=1213 His crime? Eavesdropping. On police.Archaic laws in 12 states on wiretapping and eavesdropping are being used to prosecute people who record police. Or government buildings. They can record everybody, fingerprint people, have all the guns, but the citizens can't do anything.
Allison stated, “If their statute says that it was illegal, then their statute is unconstitutional,” and violates seven amendments of the U.S. Constitution: First Amendment — Free Speech; Fourth — Unreasonable Search; Fifth — Due Process; Sixth — Speedy Trial; Eighth — Unusual Punishment; Ninth — Guaranteed Rights; and Fourteenth — Equal Protection.” Allison has refused a plea deal, hoping that his case will help overturn the application of the law in Illinois and in other states.
Finding the Lemonade Liberation story on the Bovine led me to the Michael Allison story and the woman in Rochester and the motorcyclist who, with a very visible camera on his helmet was stopped on a highway by an undercover detective in an unmarked car brandishing a gun --- and recorded it, put it on YouTube then police came to his home and confiscated his computers --- and other similar ludicrous stories. I had no idea how widespread and insidious this police action was. This is so bad. They serve and protect --- who? not us. not you. not me. This widespread despicable insidious domestic terrorism must stop.
Stay tuned for a report on the progress in our next issue! |
Don Moncrieff
Don Moncrieff, Ph.D., husband of Lee Piepgrass, died peacefully June 26, 2011 after a lengthy illness. You could always pick Don out of a crowd. Tall, bearded, long thick shaggy professorial hair, he had a demeanor of quiet self possession around him. Kind, interested, enthusiastic about what we could share with him, for Don, with a Ph.D. in Human Behavior he earned 40 years ago, and a practice in Psychotherapy for over 40 years, helping clients with problems related to marriage, family and personal issues and then later on using his spiritual resources to help heal his clients, Don was a wealth of information in his own right.Don was very quiet and did not say much. But you just knew he knew what was going on. He is missed and we are grateful he shared himself with us these past few years.
Sad to report on the passing of Muriel Murray. Muriel Murray, one of the 6 original people who started the Toronto Dowsers, left us July 1st. For many years she was our 2nd treasurer, until she was no longer able to fulfill the duties.
Previously, for some time, she kept the tape library of Astrology Toronto.
A kind, aware, educated and intelligent woman, who attempted events in life 'before her time' she was active until ill health slowed her down and took her out at 87. Muriel was a good woman and always did everything with 100% effort and honesty. She is missed.
Muriel got great comfort from one of Joey Korn's blessings and kept one by her bedside and said it daily. This blessing from Joey Korn was said at her graveside by the minister:
Pastor Ian Empey offered a fine service for Muriel. I shared some of his eulogy with some members and because they said it gave them great comfort, here it is:
You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your
back
or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes,
love and go on.
WALT WOODS
This is the time to take steps to Prevent the Flu
with:
The #1 Flu Preventive --- and Flu Cure --- used in France for over
65 years ---
Prescribed by Medical Doctors
A simple, low dosage Homeopathic Remedy
(this information is provided every other fall.)
The Flu Season is approaching. Several years ago, Carol Ann Kukulsky was kind enough to share with us the benefits of Oscillococcinum, which is made by Boiron. Oscillo is the #1 Flu Preventive --- and Flu Cure --- used in France for over 70 years, the preventive remedy of choice prescribed by the the vast majority of medical doctors in France and one of the most widely used homeopathic remedies in the world. (I.e., NO vaccinations)There is a homeopathic product , similar to Oscillo, that is supposed to work as well and is much less expensive. I found it in Baldwin Naturals, on Baldwin Street in Toronto last week but do not remember the name of the product. The way to use it for prevention is:"The safest approach is homeopathy, as it is free from side effects, without drug interactions, and safe for both children and adults. Studies have shown that for those who have not used this remedy prophalactically and experience symptoms that a 63% greater recovery by 48 hours is experienced when it is taken within the first 24 hours of symptom onset. Those not significantly better soon after that should see their health practitioner." Oscillo is made from the liver of a duck. Because of the nature of homeopathic remedies, a single liver is sufficient for the entire supply of Oscillo for North America.
> Take 1 tubule per week for a month, preferably starting in the month of September. Start today!
> Then you take one dose per month until the end of flu season.
This should be a sufficient flu preventive. If you forget to do this and if you get the flu, get Oscillo as soon as possible and start taking it as the instructions direct. If you do get the flu, it is likely it will not be a severe as it could have been."Oscillo works safely with none of the side effects associated with the over-the-counter remedies -- even some herbals. The primary benefit of Oscillococcinum is that it stimulates the body's own immune mechanisms," says Fabienne Pugnetti-Boiron, public relations manager at Boiron in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. "Because of its safety, even pregnant women and children may take it." "Oscillococcinum is the homeopathic chicken soup."
If I ever start feeling those tired achey flu symptoms, I immediately take one vial of Oscillo. If necessary, 1 or 2 more vials every 8 hours. It makes all the difference. Rather than having a flu drag on for days, symptoms usually disappear within 24 hours.Oscillo has been known and recommended for years. Therefore, it was pretty upsetting, when seeking additional information on Oscillo since I first wrote the article to find the numbnuts who are trying to get rid of this crucial product:
* "Walmart Urged to Stop Selling Ocillococcinum": Statement from the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and the Center for Inquiry on Walmart's Marketing of a Homeopathic Flu Remedy, January 25, 2011, homeowatch.org/news/cfi.html
This was signed by over 3 dozen sadly deluded, possibly corrupt Signatories from the Scientific and Medical Community* And the morons who are suing Boiron claiming side effects, etc., from ColdCalm, a similar remedy, claiming that the statements made that it is safe and has no side effects are incorrect and that: Various known side effects of the ingredients in Children's Coldcalm include: liver damage (eupatorium perfoliatum), dermatitis (kali bichromicum) and violent convulsions (nux vomica). casewatch.org/civil/boiron/coldcalm/complaint.pdf
* Then there is the ever present mentally deficient but persistent and heavily big pharma funded Steven Barrett who wrote: "Do Children Get Too Many Immunizations?"
Replied: "The Answer is No. ... Immune System Capacity Is Huge ... The capacity of the immune system to respond to antigens is vast and far greater than most people realize...." quackwatch.org/03HealthPromotion/immu/too_many.html

Protein, Hydrochloric Acid, Digestion
An article in the October 2004 issue of New Directions magazine: "Although protein is essential, too much causes problems. Hydrochloric acid is used in the digestion of protein. When too much hydrochloric acid is absorbed by the blood after digestion, it causes over acidity and toxic residues build up in the cellular tissue. This disrupts metabolism and taxes the pancreas. Ammonia is a carcinogenic by product of meat digestion. Our liver and kidneys enlarge due to the added workload of p rotein metabolism. If you are an individual with kidney problems, diabetes, hypoglycemia or hepatitis, a high protein diet worsens the condition. A damaged liver or kidney does not do well when absorbed in protein digestion. When the filtering organs are overburdened, the blood becomes more toxic and tends to aggravate other conditions." - Walter Kacera
Why You Should Use Apple Cider Vinegar Instead of Antacids or Baking Soda for Indigestion and Heartburn
Almost everything you have been told about heartburn, indigestion, and common stomach ailments are lies. Indigestion is not caused by excess acid in the stomach, nor is acid reflux. In fact, the worst treatment for these problems is taking any type of antacid whether prescribed or not.Why Stomach Acid Deficiency HappensBeing acidic is the natural state of the stomach, so there is no such thing as an excess of acid or acid buildup in regards to the stomach. This is like claiming that the lungs suffer from excess oxygen, or the blood has an excess of red cells. Attempting to neutralize stomach acid to treat an uneasy stomach is as effective as treating an excess of blood cells with leaches in the long term. Both cases would be demonstrations of using poor medicine to treat only the symptoms of relatively nonexistent medical conditions which the establishment either cannot accurately diagnose, or finds it too unprofitable to do so.
The truth about most stomach disorders is that they are caused by not having enough acid, so the industry has made fools out of most of us. The true reason behind acid reflux and indigestion is that when the stomach is lacking enough acid, it must churn violently to make the best use of its limited acid during these times of deficiency, which in turn causes pressure and back flows of the existing acid.
Antacids seem to work because they render the acid being spewed by the churning stomach as less potent, and therefore less painful. In the rare cases when acid is actually being overproduced by the stomach, it is usually the body attempting to overcompensate for antacids having been routinely administered. The effects of taking antacids eventually snowballs, preventing proper digestion, temporarily eliminating the symptoms only, and eventually causing the very excess acid problems which the treatments originally had been meant to stop. Moreover, to recreate acids which have been neutralized, the body must carry out a set of chemical reactions which causes the rest of the body to become acidic, which is quite unhealthy.
The next time that you have indigestion problems, try the experiment of giving your stomach the acid it needs. Take one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, and follow with a glass of water. (Please purchase the Apple Cider Vinegar in glass containers.) Your stomach churning and pain will subside within minutes, unless the problem is ulcers. The result is likely to amaze you, especially if you have been suckered for years by antacid advertising, as we once were.
Nowadays our diet hardly mimics the flora of Eden. Even when we try to eat well, our foods are saturated with insecticides, lack Omega-3, have hydrogenated oils, growth hormones, are raised in nutritionally deficient soils, have so called "flavor enhancing" excitotoxins, and are genetically modified typically without any labeling. Sometimes the food is even radioactive ("irradiated"), and let's not even mention that processed foods are doubly laced with fluoride from the water used to process them, or the bleachings. The Aftermath of Weak Stomach Acid, Antacids, or Baking Soda UseLabeling laws have even been rewritten to help manufacturers deceive us about 'all natural' labels, so now the word 'natural' is routinely used to mask chemically engineered ingredients. Always read the ingredients of any food item or supplement that is marketed as natural. The goal of the involved powers-that-be is to engineer cheap, mass producible foods, which are highly addictive, and keep us ignorant of it.
These foods line the aisles of typical grocery stores. Even colorings have been altered from being natural, and in some cases they are petroleum based. In the tap water, we have chlorine and fluoride in addition to hundreds of other toxins. Some of these are poisonous heavy metals which accumulate over years since they cannot be flushed by the body. Even when not consumed orally, these enter our bodies through absorption into our skin, and in our lungs through the water mist of showers both direct paths into the blood. Even contact lens solutions contain mercury ("thimersol"), and baking powders contain aluminum, as ways to net those of us who do not use vaccines. Sneaky, eh?
The end result of our accumulated toxicity and everything mentioned above is that our body chemistry has been artificially altered to become acidic. The relationship between an acidic body and illness has long been established, and the medical term for this condition is acidosis. Acidosis ironically leads to an acid deficiency in the only organ requiring acid: the stomach. The toxicity of the majority of foods in a typical diet causes the body to become more acidic during digestion, and this includes most tap water. A body which is acidic (which is most bodies) destroys its own cells, has a crippled immune system, ages rapidly, experiences skin and hair problems, has metabolic and weight regulation problems, is disease prone, is prone to allergies, cannot effectively absorb nutrients, cannot effectively flush toxins, cannot properly cope with cholesterol, cannot properly regulate minerals such as calcium, and most importantly, cannot maintain high levels of oxygen.
Donna Gates, from bodyecology.com explained that, "There are two main consequences of low stomach acid: 1. You become protein malnourished. When your stomach acid is low, you are not able to digest protein. Improper digestion of protein creates toxins in your intestines that can set the stage for illness and disease. Improper digestion of protein also creates acidic blood, since protein is by nature acidic. 2. You become mineral deficient. As your blood becomes more acidic, it will look for minerals from anywhere in your body, in order to get your blood to its more ideal alkaline state. Acidic blood robs your body of minerals, even taking minerals from your bones (which is important to know if you want to prevent osteoporosis)."Low stomach acid eventually creates a vicious cycle: low stomach acid = low minerals = acidic blood. This cycle continues because acidic blood further creates low minerals and low stomach acid. Once this vicious cycle has started, there is a cascade of consequences:
"You could eat plenty of protein and still be protein malnourished. This raises cortisol levels (stress or death hormone), thereby raising your blood glucose (blood sugar levels). Elevated cortisol adversely affects your behavior and temperament.
"Eventually, your adrenals become depleted (adrenal fatigue) and DHEA, the youth hormone, is suppressed, leading to premature aging.
"Low DHEA and high cortisol affect your brain and behavior, but that's not all. The vicious cycle of low stomach acid affects your inner ecosystem too. Low stomach acid can lead to more bad guys (pathogenic bacteria, candida and viruses) than good guys (healthy microflora), thus lowering your immunity.
"Here are some of the common symptoms and disorders caused by low stomach acid: Bloating, belching, and flatulence immediately after meals, heartburn (often thought to be caused by too much stomach acid), Indigestion, diarrhea, or constipation, undigested food in stools, acne, rectal itching, chronic candida, hair loss in women, multiple food allergies, iron deficiency, weak, peeling, or cracked fingernails, chronic fatigue, adrenal fatigue, dry skin, various autoimmune diseases".
What is Truth? Why destroy Gaddafi?
Here in North America, we are told -- by our "leaders" that Muammar Gaddafi is a murderer -- he is killing his own people -- an insane madman a big threat to the west and must be gotten rid of. Perhaps that is so. But how do we - how do I - really know this to be the truth?
The statements about Gaddafi and who he is, what he has done, comes to me from a government (Canada and the US seem aligned on all these perspectives) who: enforces vaccines, enforces fluoridated water, prohibits real milk, enforces pasteurization, irradiates our food, demonizes hemp, actually started Al Qaeda, has created nonsensical boondoggles when you want to board a plane, tells us they are bombing Iraq to make the world safe for democracy, and so on -- and they say all these actions are good and truthful and for our own good. I don't believe those lies, and don't think you do, why do we, do we? accept the others.
I do not yet have an opinion.
My wake up: I remember that soon after I came to Canada, people I -- and you -- respect -- were singing the praises of Lyndon LaRouche. "Lyndon LaRouche?" I shrieked! "How could you! He's a Communist! And an Anti Semite! I know this. I remember reading it in the N.Y. newspapers .... oh..." Maybe he is those things, maybe not, maybe he was. But for sure he has a great news gathering organization that uncovers a lot of muck.Back to Gaddafi. I wondered why the west has been expending so much energy on this man in Africa. Maybe he does ill treat his people. But of course its not because he is considered to ill treat his people! Our politicians couldn't care less. He must be a threat in other ways, or, he has something the west wants. Like oil.
Out of the blue I was sent a youtube video that paints a different picture. And dug a little more. I share 3 of the references with you:(1) What I learnt about LIBYA and Muhammar Al Qaddafi: youtube.com/watch?v=bvza6lUm9pU
In 1951 Libya was the poorest country in the world."
Before the Nato invasions Libya enjoyed the highest standard of living in Africa, and ahead of Russia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
In Libya, homes a considered a human right.
Newly married couples receive $50,000 to buy a home.
Electricity is free to all people.(2) The real reason why the west wants Gaddafi dead: youtube.com/watch?v=trhcKP53r4U
"There are 3 reasons why Gaddafi has to die. Among those 3, none of them have to do with him killing his own people.
#1 Gaddafi gave the opportunity for Africa to have its own communications satellite. The problem was western countries were making $500,000,000 / year for communication within Africa. In 2007, he came up with most of the money for this satellite.
#2: Uh oh: Gaddafi and African countries decide to create 3 major banks in Africa. With the AMF, the African Monetary Fund. The first bank was to be created in 2011.(3) New York Times, September 2011: Libyan Rebel leader Abdel Hakim Belhaj was detained by Malaysian officials in 2004 on arrival at the Kuala Lumpur airport, where he was subjected to extraordinary rendition on behalf of the United States, and sent to Thailand.
In Bangkok, Mr. Belhaj said, he was tortured for a few days by two people he said were C.I.A. agents, and then, worse, they repatriated him to Libya, where he was thrown into solitary confinement for six years. Now this man is in charge of the military committee responsible for keeping order in Tripoli, and, he says, is a grateful ally of the United States and NATO.
And while Mr. Belhaj concedes that he was the emir of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, which was deemed by the United States to be a terrorist group allied with Al Qaeda, he says he has no Islamic agenda. He says he will disband the fighters under his command, merging them into the formal military or police, once the Libyan revolution is over. He says there are no hard feelings over his past treatment by the United States. In Washington, the Central Intelligence Agency declined to comment on Mr. Belhaj or his new role.
(3) Globalists to Rebuild Libya... activistpost.com/2011/09/globalists-to-rebuild-libya.html
"The Atlantic Council, a Fortune 500-funded think tank whose entire existence consists of perpetuating the collective interests of the global corporate-financier elite (including Shell, BP, Chevron, Exxon and a myriad of military industrial corporations), encapsulates the "coached" nature of Libya's rebuilding in an article appropriately titled, "Rebuilding Libya." ... Despite both the rebels' tenuous tactical reality and their non-existent legitimacy, coupled with now open knowledge that their fighters are led by notorious terrorists drawn from the most extreme ranks of Al Qaeda, the Atlantic Council article soldiers on claiming Libya's "immense resource wealth, small population, and ability to attract foreign investment and expertise" will help its prospects for sustainable economic growth. The article takes special care to provide advice on how Western powers can avoid appearing to be engaged in "neo-colonialism" by carefully prodding along the development ...""Between reading the about the globalists and looking at a picture of the globalists with the "rebel leaders" -- Libya's two arch-traitors -- we get a concrete sense of the very real neo-colonialism taking place. The rebels appear nothing more than an ultra-violent horde of mercenaries led by an ultra-servile leadership unable to make a single decision independently without first groveling in Doha, Paris, Rome, or Washington.
Even as the very architects of the current Libyan war who have planned it literally for decades, call for a NATO occupation force to oversee Libya's reordering, the corporate media is desperate to portray the rebels as the new independent sovereign masters of Libya. Their PR stunts are as toothless as Egypt's Mohamed ElBaradei's threats to wage war with Israel - threats he has made even as he sits as a trustee within the US International Crisis Group alongside Israeli President Shimon Peres. These stunts are intended purely to prey upon the ignorance and emotions of the uninformed masses and lend contrived legitimacy to these puppet regimes where none exists in reality."(4) Then an RT vid from April 2011, which states: "Just on Saturday, the US shot $75 million worth of missles on Qaddafi's air defenses." Why do we want the US government so spend that kind of money on a task like that when so much money is needed at home? Whoever made that decision is the insane one, not - necessarily - Gaddafi.
When I come across references, such as the ones above, I tend to discount much of what the White House, Steven Harper, etc., try to force feed us. But how do we know? How do we know what is really going on? How do we know anything? Do we know anyone from Libya? If you are reading this newsletter from the Internet:

Angela Lay, a performance management officer at Maldon Council in Essex, UK agreed to help the Daily Mail find out how much information might be collected on one person. She volunteered to help them find out in an August 14 story. Here is some of the story. Also tracked were virtually all of her activities on one day, from the time she got up until she went to sleep.
When you are searching for stuff online, using, say Google or Yahoo (search engines), a record is made -- that the search has been made --- and, it is quite possible that a record has been made that YOU made it. So, if you are Googling for, say: 1982 Camaros or Bull Terriers or How to Grow Sprouts or How to build a bomb --- a record has been made in Googleland that you did it.

"Cloud Computing" is one of the latest advertising buzzwords in computerland. It started around 2007 but really picked up steam within the past year and many companies are now offering Cloud service to companies. The boilerplate says: "Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network (typically the Internet)."What this means is instead of having programs AND! data on your own computer, they will be in an area on Internet. So you would be downloading everything. This is what they are encouraging people who have tablets and want to watch movies. Download from Internet in real time.
Convenient. Easy. Ahhh those magic words that hide the nefarious side.
Sure. Download everything. BUT! HOW does it get on the net? Who puts it there? Anything that can be downloaded like that, such as a book, history, etc., can be changed. And not exactly changed to something truthful. You think they only re write the history textbooks in Russia and China? Hah! Guess again. Do you want to rely on all your material coming from somewhere on internet? I don't.

Mind Body Spirit Heart Soul connection. How is this all working together, even now, when our world seems to be such a mess? Our heart has 500 times the magnetic field of the brain therefore a much more powerful at tractor field than our body or our mind. What is our heart attracting to us and why? A brief look at the world of Meta-Medicine to find some of these answers. What is the corruption that has crept into our own guidance systems, hacking them, leading us to, at times sabotage and deceive our thoughts and efforts? We need to find and redefine better answers for ourselves so that we are in fact, divinely guided.
